Get over his injury :P

If anyone goes, keep an eye on Batsanis and Markovic for Box Hill. Both could very well be at AFL clubs next year (know for a fact Hawthorn wanted Markovic to stay at Box Hill to increase their chances of re-drafting him).

Also, keep an eye out for Anthony Marguccio if he plays 2s. Laziest bloke in the world but by far the best footballer I've ever seen play at local level (in the 03 VFL granny he towelled up Leon Davis as a 19 y/old playing as a defender for the first time all season).

Wonder how Zomer will go against a half dozen of his Eastern teammates from last year

And you knows how to write unglish.

haha highlight of the day...

Did play 2's last week and got only 9 touches in an entire game of footy. Will struggle to get back to Sandy 1's for the rest of the year.

based on what? one game? if he has a good game this week id expect him back up there. he has 18 weeks to get some form back...i think he did pretty well for a kid who wasnt ready, and hopefully he learnt a lot and will apply it...

im so jealous of hawthorn.

not only are their starting 22 so young and talented, but they have guys like Mitch Thorp, Beau Dowler, Stokes, McGlynn and Jarryd Morton is the wings. they are gonna be a force for years to come

He's allready been playing @ Sandy 2s recent games, he's a shy kid it seems & his confidance seems to have suffered since the demons.

he was named on the bench for one game, dropped the next i believe... wasn't given much of a chance...

Box Hill's centreman, Alister Neville, did the last pre-season with us but wasn't drafted. Neville has a damned good VFL pedigree (Coburg B&F, best on ground against WA last year); it will be interesting to see how he goes against Sandy. The bloke is a ball magnet and his disposal is very good - seems to me that we could use a player of his calibre right now ...

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
