Miller time. Pity he performs like a Budweiser!

I like Budweiser

Anyhoo, if he can learn to kick beyond 40 metres, then yeah, he might have a decent year, at best.

I think miller is almost the worst player at the MFC but i dont think people remember he was taken at pick 55. Only Paul Medhurst, Dane Swan, Adam Schneider, Damon White and Brian Harris who were taken after pick 55 have shown more promice. I hate miller but stop overrating him people. He was taken at pick 55 for a reason. More of a discrace is Molan, Armstrong, Rogers.

miller is good when he attacks the ball more cause he can take a mark, can sometimes kick goals, but its his decision making after he takes a mark 9 out of 10 time he will handpass it to a running player and it will be a hospital pass and the player gets crunched!!! so i would love miller to stay but he needs to make better decisions and improve his kicking!!!

Lately he's been more of a Schlitz.

Sidenote: I went to an International Beer Festival at the Chevron a number of years ago with a mighty hangover and found that Schlitz was the only product I could stomach. Pity they went belly-up.

how can you 'hate' anyone that plays for the club? be disappointed, frustrated and upset, but you cant 'hate' mfc players.

HATE is reserved for the Filth, Scum-land etc.. lol ;)

His average possesions per game are about the same as the alcohol content of American beer - about 3.2%. That's why he's as week as [censored]!

Let's hope this dud has played his last game wearing the red & blue.

even if miller is traded and happens to become a half decent player at a new club , hes been given more than enough opportunity at mfc...... goodbye.

I tend not to try to "scorn" any of our players, and he is just the one who wears the most of it.

I will never understand how you can actively "hate" one of our own. Criticism is totally different to the level of bile thrown at this player.

And I don't appreciate bullying, even by those who that think they are justified in doing so.

But I guess that is just me then ;) !!!

Herald Sun today:

Despite speculation he could be on the move, Brad Miller is a lot less likely to be traded by the end of the week.

The Swans have made their intentions on Miller clear, but it would have to be a very juicy offer to entice the Demons.

"Dean Bailey's very keen on Brad," Connolly said.

Maybe Dean Baileys not a complete idiot after all

Ive been saying this for ages. He coached him at Mt. Gravatt for christ sake.

What coach of a young guy, (I assume he was one of Mt. Gravatts best to be drafted)

who was his best player and obviously has heaps of love for his best player. Spent that time when he was younger grooming him, would not want to keep that kid in the AFL. Of course he will. Not only will he know every up-side there is about Brad. But lets be honest, there would have to be a soft spot.

But what do I know. I believe Miller is a good player who's confidence has taken a massive hit, which I know, rating Miller is not popular around here.

im not sure if he actually coached him at mt gravatt (i think miller would've been only 16 when bailey was coaching the seniors) but he would have been well aware of him, and im pretty sure miller was playing senior footy as a kid so you never know...

Brad has frustrated me over the last few years, however he has played some good footy in the past, maybe a new coach is all he needs to regain that form.

Buried deep in the Hun article about Travis, there's this piece of information -

"Demon Brad Miller has signed a new two-year deal and is staying put."

Let us hope he reverts back to the Brad Miller of 2004 when he sowed terror in the hearts of opponents before he was forced to change his style so much that even body contact seemed to be off the agenda for him!

Daniher broke Miller. Thats why he's been a bit of a dud for 2-3 years. Bailey needs to get him in the forward line, get his aggression back, get his hunger for the game back, and then we will start seeing results. I've seen Miller play decent games, so he can do it again. He'd want to make an impact in '08, however, or people will have well and truly had enough. Many already have, but I think he is good for one more chance. Only one, though.

Diablo's in my top 3 posters on this site.

Always a good read & 9/10 I agree with him.

Once again I agree Daniher broke him down - Dean Bailey will get him going again.

Let's remember, during Miller's juniors - Bailey was his Coach.

Be prepared for "MILLER TIME" in 2008!

What a load of crap that Daniher broke Miller.

Never has there been a player given sooo much playing and leadeship opportunity to perform with so little return.

You may as well blame Miller's parents for any genetic deficiencies that undermine his game.

I don't know if ND broke Miller but IMO ND had way too much faith in Miller.

Miller is not that smart or that good to be swung from fwd one week to the backline the next.

I like to see Miller bring back the biff next year.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
