  1. Yeah good point, I mean the next captain after Bruce
  2. I love your enthusiasm but they will rip you to shreds for that. Excellent game by Cam, best on ground for Melb in The Age and Sun. He will be our captain next year, people are dreaming if they think he won't be. McLean, Jones etc are too young
  3. Praying for a miracle. Two games I want to win this year the rest I can live without - tomorrow and Queens Birthday. If I hear one more Geelong supporter mention the word "dynasty" I will scream. And Collingwood well its Collingwood.
  4. Please play him at CHF this week Bailey, let him prove himself there
  5. Jones clearly. Brock was a waste of space out there yesterday
  6. I agree with you on some points. Bad decision making BAD BAD decision making at the top of the club. However its not one person. I think we shouldve stuck with ND, it was not this bad under him. Travis Johnstone was a BAD BAD BAD decision, all the people that think it was good you are kidding yourselves cos ho-hum who was best on ground last night? Carroll played good for the first half, if we drop him we have no backline. McLean was rubbish I agree but so was everyone. I would pass Jones, Davey & Carroll for today and that is it. The rest need were a disgrace. Worst game I have seen in 20 years. More BAD decision making playing Bruce & Miller on the backline and Neitz at Centre Half Forward, he cant run Bailey!
  7. Deanox I know this might come as a shock but not everything I write is about you. I said generally thats peoples opninion I did not say yours. Also I said 98% of people on DEMONLAND I did not say 98% of people in this thread Rhino.
  8. What Deanox means is that 98% of people on demonland want Miller gone and refuse to see any positives to his inclusion to the team.
  9. The players have spoken, the know better than any of us who the leaders are at the club, considering no-one on here actually plays for Melbourne. Good choices by the boys
  10. Why in the world do we have EY as our auditors? Geez no wonder we've got no money. Not even clubs with money like Essendon waste their money on Big Four auditors
  11. Bite me Deanox. I didnt say it was relevant. I thought we wanted a younger list so we bid farewell to TJ say hello to draft picks. Not a hello to someone like Sampi
  12. So we dump TJ for a reject like Sampi? Yeah I love the decision making that goes on down there
  13. Guys u cannot be serious its already 31 degrees outside its too hot for football. Dont be heroes call it off or there will be carnage
  14. No chance in hell Essendon will let him go, dare to dream. But it is a lovely dream
  15. Deanox u are taking serious liberties with the truth, I pmed you to tell u to stop stalking me, I still have a copy if you need ur memory refreshed. And the previous two posts well we didnt realise we had both posted at the same time, slightly embarassing perhaps. So yes coincidental is the answer to that question
  16. Deanox u are one hilarious boy! No we shall drive in together awwww. And we have our own computers so its no issue, thanks for your concern though! Are we going to be lucky enough to meet u?
  17. Please show the great man a little bit of respect and never, I repeat NEVER use his name in the same sentence as Nathan Buckley, its offensive to him and to Melbourne supporters
  18. So what was the point in trading him? If either way it doesnt make a difference? As good as those guys are, they havent given us a premiership either so Im not seeing ur point. More young kids, look at Geelong, they have an awesome mix of young and experienced, thats what we need
  19. Dont get me started on Woey, but I firmly believe his heart wasnt in it for Collingwood, he really wanted to stay at the Dees. I never wanted Judd for what we would have to give up for him, he wasnt worth it, and hes a money grubbing jerk anyway, definitely a Melb supporter we do not need. If u think getting rid of TJ is gona shake them up uve got another thing coming. And Im glad people have been ringing the club, we have favourite players you know, screw pick 14, its not going to be the difference between a premiership and not, just like Judd cannot single handedly help Carlton off the bottom
  20. You summed it up beautifully. I always had such a sense of relief when TJ held the ball cos I knew he would never get caught holding it too long and would always hit his target. Im beyond devestated and I am sick of the club ripping my heart out. I can only imagine the force that the lions will be with TJ delivering the ball inside 50 to the superstar who is Brown. All the best TJ, your Brownlow night last year always makes me smile. "TRAVIS Johnstone says he almost broke down when he cleaned out his locker at the Melbourne Football Club yesterday."
  21. I dont know how many times I have to say this, but what a load of crap putting the last 15 years of absolute rubbish football on TJ. The whole bloody team is incosistent and underperforming, if they werent we wouldve wont something in recent years and not finished 3rd bottom this year. You are talking about every bloody player on the list right now. Its not a wake up call to any of the guys I think some will be really upset hes gone more than motivated. I just saw a pic of TJ in a f-ing lions jumper and its broken my heart. This is ridicolous at least I am not the only one: MELBOURNE suffered a supporter backlash late Thursday after Travis Johnstone became a Brisbane Lion. Club staff took phone calls from angry supporters in scenes reminiscent of the dramatic day that Brownlow medallist Shane Woewodin was offloaded to Collingwood in 2002.
  22. My issue is all the excuses u just rattled off as to why he deserves to go applies to EVERY player at the club, hence why we have done nothing in the last 15 years. Trading him wont change that. If it was only TJ letting the team down I would get it, but to put all the crap onto him is unfair and ridicolous. Off field stuff well Im guessing the team wont be heading back to Europe any time soon take a bow Brock, Rivers and Carrol. There are more off field issues other than TJ
  23. For the record I never wanted a new coach nor a clean out. I just dont see the justification in waving TJ bye bye for a sub standard 10 years when the club overall has had been nothing short of below average in 10 years. Where has the club been in 10 years? One grand final to get smashed? Getting rid of him will change nothing, another youngster wont make the difference between a premiership and finishing 3rd bottom. And since when did the AFL turn into Hollywood? Too much obsession with youth when its the oldies who know their [censored] and pull the crowds
  24. Yes shame on Melbourne supporters sticking up for the player that they love, what is this a passionate club or something? No lets all sit back and just watch good idea!
