Will you cry if no Judd?

I've been crying since 9am yesterday morning.

I figure by the time he makes his announcement I would have moved on.

You obviously have a source that you believe wholeheartedly, but there are a few other people with sources who say he is coming to Melbourne.

Someone is mistaken. 50% chance your source is the one who has it wrong.

And yes, tears will flow.

If he goes to the Filth, my emotions will go from sadness for awhile, then to anger as I realise a passionate melbourne supporter growing up has nominated to play for the filth. *shudders*, makes me sick just thinking about it...

Exactly, I'd be stoked if my source was wrong but sadly I'm not so sure it is.

I just hope Judd is prepared to be the most hated man in football.

Things may have changed since yesterday morning.

For example, Judd may have spoken to West Coast and realised that getting to Melbourne is far more realistic than playing for the Pies. He might actually care about finding a solution that helps best compensate West Coast.

Then again, I might be clutching at straws and he really is going to Collingwood.

Put it this way, I'd be VERY surprised if he chooses Melbourne. Collingwood is a far more obvious choice.

Mate by all rights Melbourne shouldn't even be in the running - the fact that it is and the fact that its the persistent rumour despite the Sheehan logic that usually proves right gives me heart. Ive heard it from a few sources, one which I respect. And he reckons he heard it practically from the horse's mouth.

If he goes to COllingwood he'll just be part of the COllingwood machine with eddie dribbling all over him all day long - even with all the facilities in the world dont rate Collingwood's premiership chances on one season alone - a lot of good teams just under performed this year for mine...

If its not true why are there so many rumours - If I was Judd Id get on the net and check which group of fans wants him the most. The last post on one Collingwood forum about Judd was posted at 6pm!

meanwhile Im having anxiety attacks similar to those the moment Green went down on that fateful day in 2000...

I've attended several functions during grand final week and all oil indicates to me that Collingwood have all the appeal. Started with Robbo, Tim Lane and Wallet, the general thoughts of that conversation were that Judd was impressed with the facilities, the medical staff and the funding to the footy department in general.

I've also had conversations with John Barnes who was clear that he felt Essendon were not a chance in hell. Apparently the meeting wasn't overly impressive and they didn't get a good vibe from Judd once it was completed. John Barnes is still surprisingly very well connected at Essendon.

There are a few others and 1 in particular that I had yesterday morning that I would almost put my left nut on.

It ruined my day at 9am and I drank like a fish for the remainder of the day and boy... am I paying for it now.

I'm not doubting you for a minute.

You have no reason to report anti-Melbourne rumours given that you are a Melbourne supporter.

My point is, that just as you've heard from a 'reliable source' that Judd is going to Collingwood, others have heard from 'reliable sources' that Judd is coming to Melbourne.

I wouldn't worry about Robbo, Lane or Wallet, they are all speculating just as we are. What do you make of BT's claims that he is ready to sign with Melbourne? Carries about as much weight as what the other 3 journos had to say.

Here's hoping that this time tomorrow you'll have a new reason to drink, and this time, in celebration instead of agony!

If he goes to Collingwood do you reckon it will go down well?

Of course it wouldn't.

But if he did go to Collingwood he would have:

-better training and medical facilities.

-more of a chance of playing finals.

-more games on the MCG

than Carlton can dream of. That's why if he chooses the Pies over us it would make more sense than if he chose the Blues over us.

I think I've come to the realisation that we are stuffed tonight. Too many people who are certain we are done for, and those who are 'certain' we aren't done for sound hopeful, rather than genuinely confident. There will be no tears when we are officially stuffed tomorrow, but it's going to hurt like hell reading that it's over. I think I shall be in quite a sombre mood tomorrow afternoon.

I love my club, and this would have been a turning point in our severely bad fortunes.

Damn you Chris Judd. Damn you.

I agree with you Diablo... Too many people very confident Melbourne will be missing out, no real evidence to the contrary.

We will have to wait and see - but it will hurt.

The people I know that have put coin on, don't have much. That gives me confidence in their belief and sources. Chris Judd will be a Demon next year. I just fear we are going to have to give up too much.

I've of the opinion that BT knows but due to his close ties with Collingwood and Eddie he has been ordered to silence. As I mentioned the mail I was given Saturday suggested Judd made his decision Friday and Collingwood had suggested they wait until Monday out of respect for the celebrations of Len Thompson's life.

BT is and always has been a tool but he generally is a well informed tool when it comes to Collingwood.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
