GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond

Jeffo = David Cordner. One trick pony, one dimensional player. Diabolical bust.

I just want to see Jeffo kick his third.

Fritta is a funny player.

Can pretty much do nothing for a majority of a game and turn it on for 10 to 15 minutes and really impact the outcome.

We thought that about last week.

Blake "The Tank" Howes. He's everywhere!

I expect us to play at the level. If we go by what we've shown this season.

should have run farther kossie before taking the kick

I wish us the best, feeling like Sydney in Sydney will slice and dice us.

Maybe I'll get to see my ten goal win prediction after all. 17.10....to 10.5 is five easy misses.

Scoreline doesn't reflect the win.

And yet at times it looked pretty iffy.

Oh hey, we've found a handpass Langford does well!

Bit of the old 'I can see out the back of my head' routine just got us a goal.

The fact he came from the pies is just 👩‍🍳 💋

we're winning by 40 points DV

It's turning out to be a decent whacking but if we are both honest there were some worrying times up until close to the end of the third.

But all's well that ends well.

Our goal kicking needs some work.

Good to see some promise from Heath.

But Sparrow is part of the story tonight and has really made a difference tonight and all year.

Gawn OFF.
Moose ON.

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
