From what I have heard we are better off without them. When winning things get overlooked and covered up. But believe me things were rotten in Denmark. Some things I've heard would shock many of us, the media knows a lot probably not all. We are lucky that all wrongdoings are not public. Now that is not to say all were equally naughty, if one was to weigh up the trades it gives an indication of how bad things were. Careers could end abruptly with little said, we are better off now.

I will not elaborate, I don't care if you believe me but if the [censored] hits the fan at some time you'll see what I m alluding to.

It seems Goodwin & Pert tried sweeping a lot under the carpet which fractured the culture, connect the dots of trading out players and retirements and sacking of Goodwin, still unclear of Petracca, watching Roos telling him he’s getting he’s 1st game to how he finished with his B&F speech is a reflection of how bad the club become and on himself possibly, selfish comes to mind but many reports saying he wasn’t liked by the other players why?

This is interesting.

I was speaking to a current player on our list in the off season whilst he was up during the Christmas break, we have same circle of friends.

He told me a lot of the [censored] then went down behind the scenes which none has been reported as of yet (doubt it ever will).

Players are far more glad to see the back of Clayton Oliver more then anyone.

He needed to be gone 1-2 years earlier, any insights as to why supposedly Trac wasn’t liked??

I think that is well known jnr. I am told at the end of year function when he came second in the Best and fairest player award there was no applause from the players or most people in the room. I understand that after meeting his future wife things changed. And of course the injury that landed him in hospital also impacted his attitude when the then President did not even phone him. Its sad and disappointing that he is now at another club because he is at the top of league in playing ability.

President not ringing him is not the issue though I agree She should have and the disconnect she had was pathetic, the handling of his injury post was and communication to playing group when he took time off for his recovery in Noosa which didn’t go well with the playing group apparently, Goodwin stated lack of enough love shown, I’m amazed Richardson still has a job..

As for the FD being "such a mess", except for the head coach and the backline coach, it's basically the same, including the fitness/medical and recruitment/list management teams.

And Richardson is still in his post.

The then-President texted him and let him know that she was available to talk any time. He was in a very bad way at the time, I don't know that he was taking many calls ...

He's there to support his players and the group. Did he go too far in that in tolerating unacceptable and damaging behaviour? Hindsight would say yes.

I have herd similar stories since 21' including about players you wouldn't imagine... i chose not to believe at the time because I loved the fact every single week we were a good chance of winning...

Glad the broom has finally come out, a fresh season of no culture issues and a no d#@k head policy, is needed

I’ve thought that the flag was won on the back of the momentum created by The Sainted One (P Jackson) and Roos. When those two went, things fell apart over time.

Would this have occurred under Roos, I don’t think so, just reinforces how not being under 1 roof is critical for all to see what’s occurring
