If they take their opportunities they can pinch this.

Lions v Doggies the only entertaining, close game of this absurd Opening Round ... Carn the Doggies ...

Pretty sure Dale either couldn’t hear the umpire or thought he was going to the mark with that 50. Seems confusing between umps and players

This is it? Really? Wow . . . they are truly paddling up stream in a barbwire canoe.

Watching the tankers shirt themselves on cue is always entertaining for me.

Typical of David King saying "you don't beat Brisbane in Brisbane" forgetting that 3 teams, including Melbourne, did it last year.

We finally got a great game & what a cracker it was.

Can the umps give the bont the 3 votes for his 3 goals so he can start the brownlow count well.

Game was full of cooked up decisions and just how good "the dynasty" is going to get.

He said in an interview he's worked on his kicking every single day over the offseason.

I think you'll find he said he'd been working on his set shots.

Goodwin should have been moved on at the end of 2023. Instead he was given a contract extension in August

That is the main reason we are where we are.

No it's not.

The fact that we let go 3 of our big name players, including 2 that we're having to pay out, plus changing our CEO and President, plus restructuring the FD/Board relationship with a new senior post, would strongly suggest that the issues went a lot deeper than just Goodwin - or any individual for that matter.

Still tickets on level 1 of the AFL Members. 55k. Max 60k.

Glad all the [censored] games are almost over and we can get to our mighty Dees winning.Getting cataract done friday got to stay overnight home in time for the game. One eyed as usual

Dogs were fun to watch last night

No defence, all out attack

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
