Not quite.

My MFCSS assures me that exactly the same tackle by, say, Kozzie or any other Demon for that matter would earn 2-3 weeks under the Dopey MRO.

Still don't understand how Kane McAuliffe wasn't cited. A fist behind the ear hard enough to knock him silly, resulting in a serious injury. Surely that's careless, high contact, high/severe impact? That should be 2 matches at least.

Edit: More like an elbow rather than a fist. Point still stands.

Does the maggot get consulted by phone at some whether or not he thought it was entitled to be MRO'd

Do you really not understand?

The MRO appears to have trouble making consistent rational decisions and appears to be seriously biased. The Maynard / Brayshaw event, and his threat of resignation surely showed this bias, and the AFL are taking us all for fools by keeping him in the job that he clearly is not up to.

If Butters didn't play for Port we'd be on the bottom. Surely most of Port's charges and fines are him

Gardiner is late with his spoil and nowhere near the ball.

He hits Naughton in the side of the face with what looks like an elbow or forearm.

One week is lucky, don’t know why they are appealing.

The curse of Adrian Anderson strikes again

Seriously why would anyone use that guy?

I almost want Michael Christian to step in and suggest there's no case for 'Pendles' to answer. Just to reaffirm my views on the 'system' being a complete rort.

what's the bet the 'good bloke clause' gets enacted to ensure he doesn't get a week?

All too predictable

This is being entirely orchestrated for one outcome, with the last 24 hours seemingly a concerted campaign. So a bit of 'we want it to seem like there's a genuine process, so we'll cite 'Pendles' to add a bit of legitimacy'.

End result - clear to play. We can only hope that Michael 'I'll resign if he gets suspended' Christian provides us with the outcome

Might have a written reference from Kyle Sandilands.....

Yes, but Kyle Sandilands may be busy. Remember that he's a key face in a new Australian national anti-racism and anti-hate campaign. You couldn't make it up

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
