One advantage of being old is that primary schools in the 1970s had a real emphasis on ensuring young people knew the difference between grammar and their grandmother.

I really do hope we regain our fighting spirit next year. I heard some story about when Neale Daniher became coach he would show some video of maybe a lion and wildebeest. The lion eventually won out and got his meal. But Daniher impressed upon the team how the wildebeest fought like mad till the very end and never gave up. I sure hope this story's true cos a year later we went from last to beating the eventual premeir by eight goals in the finals and a respectable loss in the prelim.
