That will never happen.

I’m confident, for sure it will.

The rest of the article says that “Humphrey is almost certain to leave in the coming years and there won’t be a Petracca on the other side of that deal.”

This imaginary article writes itself…

No, you're not. 😂

Answer: Their are signs but nothing definitive

BTW Bailey has pushed his case extremely hard so for those that think he isnt trying are delusional.

The 2026 1st is too much. They can keep 7 and we'll keep our F1

GC win that trade by a country mile. Pick 7 will end up about Pick 15 and 15 in the mid 20s. On top of the Oliver debacle this would permanently cement us as the weakest negotiating club in history.

No it’s just Lamb is hopeless at the trade table. He’s got to go asap.

Probs best you don’t call NC ‘Champion’

Especially in only your second post. It won’t get you far. Take it from me… when I first started posting I was falling over myself trying to be nice and still I routinely found myself crying into my pillow at night 🙃 Things are vastly different now. I never get upset about anything on here.

No sweat GW, he’s just showing me the respect I deserve. I am a champion. I single handedly won the ‘64 grand final for the Dees. He’ll probably call me “hero” next.

Dees need to get GC to jump… And I believe our 2026 1st is it. Bailey for Trac isn’t straight up and I think we need to pay more.

I’m hoping Pick 7 can get us Josh Lindsay and Pick 15 Mitch Marsh or Latrell Pickett.

Maybe we keep Pick 23 if you think is overs. Dees have a history of trading future 1st to get in this draft.

Tough start for King if we don’t get a quality player in return for Trac (and Oliver).

I actually don’t see Humphrey and Trac playing in the same side… I think they but heads. A bit like a Gawn & Grundy all over again.

We dont need GC to jump at all. We need to be resolute for once and standy by our statements. If there is not a quality player and a high enough draft pick then Trac stays. Simples. This draft is so shallow that picks outside the top 10 are effectively a gamble, so trading away next year's f1 is simply ludicrous

The powers that be keep enabling him to ruin our future though

Humphrey is worth more than Trac. We have to give up something.

I understood getting Flanders & high draft pick would have been in the ball park. But not Humphrey. It goes the other way…!

I don't actually hate this. I'd happily give up a top 4 pick next year for a 21yr old Humphrey that's proven and had some development and ready to impact.

Petracca for 7, 15 and future 2nd isn't horrendous either.

Get an established best 22 player with star factor and bring in two first round picks this year.

Pick 15? Who else do you have being selected before pick 7 other than the 3 academy players?

How about we package Clarry in the deal for nightclub sponsorships with JUH and De Goey. What a dream team!

Brand Petracca will be cooking lasagne, the other lads...

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
