Sorry - can anyone confirm when they changed the rules on trading draft picks up until draft night? Lamb just got asked whether we'd be trading picks 7 and 8 and he said "well we can't now"?

They haven't. Assuming he was thinking of trading for players, not ither picks

This thread was a lot of fun and (for the most part) lacked a lot of the vitriol that is unfortunately pretty common on Demonland.

Wish it had worked out but the inclusion of the 2026 first rounder, plus signing CJ and Steele, makes it all sting a bit less.

given how keen we were this year and have been basically every year, we’ll certainly be back here in 12 months time. We’ve done the ground work and have the jump over every other club. If he was unhappy this year it’s only gonna be worse next year when he’s their 5/6 string mid and is locked in the half forward with trac playing the exact same role.
