I'd imagine Green and a third round draft pick for Fev and their 4th round draft pick. Seem fair?

I would. Why not? he is only 26. Netiz has only 20-30 games left in him (hope more) and we do need a full foward.

Could it be Judd or Matt Kreuzer that Pratt's after?

Looks like [censored] for tat.

We say Neita's out injured so they suspend Fev.

BIG PRIZE for bottom two teams. Maybe Carlton have woken up to this. They would rate themselves a big show against us.

If we did get him ;) what would we offer carlton to get him.

It's not so much a question of what we would offer Carlton, but what would they offer us to sweeten the deal if we agreed to take him off their hands.

Fev will be fine in a winning team. Its after they lose a few in a row that he loses the plot. If he went to WCE he would kick more than 100 goals and his attitude would be terrific. If he came to Melbourne and we lost our first 3 games again laske this year and last he would be useless for the rest of the year.

I know Brendan well (used to be his school teacher!). He hasn't changed much since Year 9! My advice to the new coach and footy department - a leopard doesn't change its spots.

Any thought of getting this primitive to the club is the shortest route to stupidity and failure I've read in a while.

We need to build a greater team ethic across the entire playing list and not bring in a half-arsed wild card to rock the boat when what we're after is stability after an upheaval.

No prima donnas thanks; just hard, tough, talented, consistent footballers who respect the jumper and play for the team.

Fevola fills one of those criteria and it ain't enough. Thanks but no thanks.

Just a smaller version of the same sook we see today! Having said that, he could always play-not what we need though. I could imagine him and Colin enjoying life just a little too much.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
