Got some mail the Nate Caddy isnt happy with all the garbage going on at Essendrugs.

Best we get over there with a truck load of cash and get his signature.

That could be sorted at the dinner table, not at the club 😏 (allegedly)

They’re making some changes at Tulla. A friend has just finished up there. Reckons the broom is coming as there are a bunch of stakeholders (players included) who reckon the place is a $hitsh0w!

I have a feeling the James Hird fan club might make another push to replace Brad Scott as coach to be honest.

No amount of cleaning will help if they revert back to Hirdy, I dearly hope it happens

Precisely why they have my full support.

Funnily enough it seems the unrest at Essendrug garners nowhere near the amount of media attention as our unrest 🤷

Collingwood just delisted for, Charlie Dean, Markov, McRae.

If May goes, Markov not a bad look in.

McRae looking for a new job then?

Would happily take Finlay for a bit of midfield depth.

Ash Johnson seemingly had the world at his feet in ‘23. 2 years later and it’s hard to see him getting another shot.

I remember Ash Johnson giving May/Lever a nice touch up in 2022 when he kicked 4 goals on a friday nigjt.

Genuinely thought he was going to be a dangerous forward for the pies for years to come.

I think Markov got a game over Noble and he bailed to the Suns and is playing great footy

poor list management

I had a feeling that Noble wasn’t a favourite there, unsure of why. He played well most of the time and used the ball well (mostly)

Highly skilled but lazy on the field. Never did any of the stuff required, pressuring, tackling etc.

I've got a mate who knows the fam and I've asked him on the off chance he has heard anything.

My friend replied to my SMS with 'I have no inside knowledge' haha. Sorry false alarm.

As always Life of Brian has all life's answers:

  • Norm: 'only a true insider would deny their inside knowledge

  • Norm's friend: 'What? Ok i DO have inside knowledge!'

  • Norm: 'He DOES have inside knowledge'

The Demon stalwart surpassed the number of his father's appearances for the club towards the end of the season. As he approaches his thirties, his pace is inevitably slowing, and he is likely to explore alternative opportunities beyond the team's midfield.

The Demon premiership defender who has the reputation the master of intercept possessions as well as great leadership qualities managed only eight senior games this season as he battled injury and form, prompting speculation that he might be enticed to look elsewhere.

“Disco” took his time (four seasons) but the mid-season draftee has been a shining light of Melbourne's campaign, improving to become a versatile option at either end of the ground. He has great marking skills which allows him to play as a marking target up forward or an intercepting defender down back.

The skipper delivered another outstanding season, leading the team from the front, participating in every game, and earning club champion honours, while also securing an equal record eighth All-Australian blazer as a ruckman.  Max Gawn is arguably the greatest exponent of ruck skills in the history of the game; an exceptional leader who has guided the club to a premiership, through the challenging times that followed, and now into the next phase of its storied history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup

It was a frustrating season for the former number 13 draft selection, who failed to build momentum in his second campaign; Tholstrup played only nine games, having been omitted twice and substituted out three times. However, he demonstrated promising signs in the midfield at Casey towards the end of the season, and big things are anticipated from him in the coming years.

All at Melbourne are eagerly anticipating his resurgence to his previous peak performance levels.
