who are you cheering for?

Lions are playing terrific footy

They are my flag favourite by a long way. They will peak at the right time

McLuggage is great to watch

The intensity of this game is not quite at the level of our game today but pretty good.

bears just seem to pluck talls from everywhere as tall forward options but they definitely let them develop

henry smith has been on their last for years, but in this game he looks like a player ready to be an important part of a very, very good side

they look better without the big o

Can we officially say the Dan Houston trade is a flop yet?

absolutely! i’ve seen a lot of Pies games and he has little impact. No where near AA squad

First round pick me bollocks!

imagine we got him instead of Xl???!!

Not sure, probably be our 2nd best midfielder behind Lanford.

When did Garry Lyon become a Collingwood supporter? Doesn't mind barracking for em

All the media do. HQ mandated.

Yep. True.

I heard a guy who makes footy YouTube content talking during the week about big side bias. For context he said if he makes a video about GWS he might get 100 views in 24 hours, for The Bulldogs he might get 1000 views, but if he makes a video about Collingwood it will get 45,000+.

He said the difference is almost unbelievable, and that he literally can’t say negative things about Collingwood or his business wouldn’t be economically viable.

Fox would have much better and more specific data. They tell their special comments guys who to barrack for. Without doubt.

The cricket has been fabulous but the footy wins out tonight

High class match and could be the GF preview

If you want to see how low modern tv journalism has sunk, a channel 7 reporter has tried to doorstop Ginnivan and absolutely embarrassed herself, and he calls her out on it. I'm unsure if you will be able to find it, but is almost humiliating for the poor young woman. I can't stand Ginnivan but he was totally justified to hold his ground and call her out.

I saw it totally differently. She absolutely owned Ginnivan. He’s not quick-witted, all he could muster was a silly giggle followed by “you’re embarrassing.”

She didn’t strike me as humiliated at all. She killed it.

Also, it’s not like she appeared in his shower stall at home, he was walking through the airport, a busy public space. The cocky little upstart invites this kind of attention despite lacking in the repartee department.

Big flop. He wouldn't be in our top 10 players on form, and we're legit rubbish at the moment.

He wasn't worth what we would've paid for him on previous All Aus form. Thank God that trade didn't work out and we wound up with Langford and Lindsey instead!

Well we will have to disagree. Ginnivan is a total tool and a real numpty - but the quality of journalism was akin to a 14 yo tiktok influencer trying for a selfie with their crush.

I’m happy to agree to disagree 🙂

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
