NO. That says more about the supporter base than the club. Shocking post.

It may be the only way to send a message to the club that this mismanagement and poor performances should not be tolerated. I know it’s extreme, but it’s worth considering how not many will show up anyway.

The trouble is, when you start these things there is no controlling which way the wrecking ball swings.

You can lose Dean Bailey and keep Cameron Schwab, for example.

I know we should, and we have. But I’m conflicted, and its my opinion it’s ridiculous how this poor management and performance has kept getting worse and being not dealt with. I’ll still be watching on TV but I can’t put myself through another game there for now

This still exists, but time is also our rarest commodity.

lol, there’s not going to be a big enough crowd to worry about a boycott

GWS 2015 may be in danger of being a bigger crowd

The problem is defining what the ‘club’ actually is. No-one is saying you abandon your association with the Demons.

But we are dealing with a situation where a self-serving board of insiders can’t even establish decision making leadership (they are all interim) and the senior coach is beyond redemption but no-one with authority will deal with that.

Meanwhile, the membership diminishes and our credibility for future trades diminishes.

That is why I am staying home again next week. We are being scammed by a few self-interested individuals that have ‘taken over’ our club who won’t take responsibility for the train wreck they have created.

This is exactly what I meant by my boycott. It’s not a temper tantrum I’m giving up on my team, I’m rusted on to the Dees. I’m boycotting because I care about my team, to make necessary changes that should have already been made.

We don't have a Dean Bailey to lose

LOL! As if any [censored] who throw a little boycott tantrum would have turned up anyway.

You can pretend you would have, but let's be real.

We know.

I have been a member since I was 5. I was genuinely going to go next week, as the game doesn’t fall during my work hours for once. I’m not knocking on anyone that does go, I just don’t want my team to bottom out and become a basket case again for years.

Dear JTR I don’t know your personal circumstances but I doubt that many members (if any) have travelled as far and as often and laid as much air flight dollars and hotel expenses as I have over many decades - year-in and year-out - to support the Demons every week.

So show some respect to those who are at wits end and propose civic action to put pressure on the management who have overseen this train wreck but refuse to take responsibility.

I really don't care anymore

Have no faith that anyone at club can turn it around.

Anyone who disagrees, would love to see evidence

I’ll be there! What’s the point of not going? I’ve already paid for my Trident membership, and I’m interested to watch from level 2 at Marvel.

I was disappointed today, hugely, but is it more disappointing than the second semi in ‘23, or the Prelim in ‘87? If I can survive those I can survive anything.

I respect that, especially for people who have paid for memberships and tickets.

2023 we knew we would be back the following season.

Today is very different, the club is going down like the Titanic. If nothing is done to fix this (no matter who has to go) then you would be looking at 6 years in the wilderness. Losing most of our talented young guns in a couple of years.

Tripe served cold ,but only for the entire season!

The club set up a 0/5 start and is finishing with this sort of tripe.

Get real. The

I'll be there.

I'll leave my bells at home but.

The Demons are back at the MCG for the second week in a row. They face the Suns off a 15 day break without their prized recruit and former Demon champion Christian Petracca. • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
