NON-MFC: Round 20

Attacking the ball (like May was doing) and a player knocked out in the contest for the ball. Someone has to get three weeks here. The ball was high in the air and players were almost stationary, so they could have easily pulled out of the contest.

Carlton back to regularly scheduled programming when they’re not versing us, I see

Versing - love it.

That’s what my son used to say.

I still do!

They’ll never admit it but AFL HQ must be horrified, and panicked. The season has been over for literally half the competition for months, and the fixture couldn’t have been more poorly designed. Thursday night in particular has had 8 weeks of games that have been over at half time.

This season is a stinker, and I’m genuinely surprised it’s not been a much bigger story.

Yes they don’t have to admit it.

Because they answer to nobody.

HQ get their big salaries anyway.

Laughing all the way to the next overseas trip.

The dogs have made a habit of smashing bottom teams.

with the way their midfield spreads from stoppage, its got me worried about our game against them.

So Sam Taylor was reckless? Or intentional?

Not sure why there is two games on at the same time on a Friday night but as it turns out the AFL got lucky with the schedule.

Same as whatever May’s rating was.

Great game in Sydney, finals-like. Intense, skillful, fast. I will have one Cadman and one Heeney to go please. Oh, and chuck in Hogan.

doggies bombers a nothing game

If the Dees can't make it, I hope the Doggies or Freo can. And it is NEVER a nothing game watching the Bummers getting a hiding.

bloods looking the goods against gw$

Having a good run from the umpires though (9-3 free kicks). Some very soft and questionable frees in there. But agree, they’re looking good.

No way AFL want Greene rubbed out but he should be. Lack of replays nothing to see here. It was a Maynard like effort.

Just a bit ump bias for the Swans. No htb call, no deliberate call, no high in that last play. I smell a rat

Briggs being slaughtered by the umps. Grundy getting away with murder.

GWS player lying on Heeney after bringing him down in a tackle. GWS player receives a free kick for holding the ball then Greene comes in, after the free kick was paid and the game was stopped and lays an elbow blow into the back of Heeney’s head. It was 100% intentional, he should definitely get at least two weeks, but agree that he won’t.

Tom ‘crazy eyes’ Papley the most punchable player in the game?

Hawthorn have a few candidates.

I reckon GWS will get close in the second half but yeah, the umps are giving the vibes they'll get the swans over the line.

Good game to watch. Should be a good finish
