There's no stopping those entries when there's such poor pressure and easy outlets WW

no, but he's been so far behind georgiades since he went on to him at every contest that it's just embarrassing

When you deliver the ball like that inside 50, even a goddamn potato can kick 7 goals!

Not sure why any of you are surprised by the cheats umps. We have been umpired out of 3 games this year. Make this 4.

Another game soured by umpires

Yes

AND our inability to kick goals, set shots and snaps from 20 meters, by our senior players.

Appears to be a serious lack of interest in correcting this disgrace.

Why?

This is on us. How many other coaches in the AFL would allow this many basic errors.

The coaches aren’t kicking the ball

Absolute disgrace that we've let a B grade forward kick 7 total

As much as the players love Goodwin etc etc, it’s time for a change as it’s the same issues always raising their heads and nothing seems to change. If that upsets players, so be it.

This Port dud is lining up for 6 goals. Embarrassing.

Maybe, but he takes marks and kicks goals. I’d take that right now!!

goal kicking again

Broken record. Should have easily, EASILY kicked 4 more goals in 2nd and 3rd quarter. That would have locked in the momentum, and given us confidence and belief to finish.

Very frustrating to say the least.

Yep, poor skills. Can't mark can't kick...

Ran out of legs each quarter.

King birthday is catching up with us.

Poor kicking.....blah blah blah...... broken record

Lindsay sub a mistake. He’s the only player except Kosi who can hit a target under pressure.

Anyone know why kozzies only had two touches since halfway of second Q?

I thought Collingwood must have been loading....

I really think it's time Goody moves on. I appreciate the flag very much and we came so close to two.

But I feel he's just too stubborn and keeps doing things that don't work.

And when he makes a change the game is usually done and dusted.

I know it's not his fault quite a few have been ordinary today but his playing Petty forward for two years is the definition of insanity.

And it's true we don't have the players that's in part on him.

And our kicking at goal has to ultimately land on his shoulders as well.

It's not unreasonable to change coaches at this point. I just don't think I can handle another year, next year without finals.

Yeah they sniped him out of game

“They’re not home yet” STFU Dwayne you moron! They’re 31 pts up with 6 minutes and we have a team full of window lickers!

Should be realistic that he’s old as hell, sub only on 6 day breaks.

True but I think I'm right in calling him inconsistent. He was four years ago.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
