I really rate this design. Looks really good. It says in the little Melbourne news article about it that the writing underneath the Chevron means "all hearts beat true for the red and the blue".

Love it.

Oh boy, this is fantastic. We're either never letting him go, or this is the last hurrah before he leaves... Either way, brilliant design, and brilliant to get Kevin more involved in the Club.

Nice. The red yoke is a little shallow though.

surely you are yoking, rab? (or maybe yesting)

Easily the best non-traditional jumper we have had. They might as well just keep for for all Games in NT, WA and SA and for Narm branded games in Melbourne.

Yes brilliant effort, I was just admiring it on the MFC website also agree how cool that Kozzie’s dad Kevin designed it.❤️💙

Got last years indigenous jumper - with red heart. Cracking jumper. This years looks just as good.

However really think the designs could be used for multiple years rather than redoing them year on year. Seems like a waste of resources and non-sold merchandise to me.

Why change it each year ?

money money money, to sell the match worn ones and retails. no one would buy them if they are the same every year

Because Indigenous culture is diverse and MFC has many different links to it.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
