Turner for May is obvious. McVee comes in, I'd make the change for Sharp, but then not sure who gets the sun. Melksham perhaps.

Not sure Sharp deserves to stay in

Personal reasons?

I reckon I know what it is. I’ll DM you.

Sorry but fritsch does not deserve a recall after 1 game.

Tomorrow night I better see him chase, not be selfish & not get in the way of other forwards

Good changes, Fritsch and Melk have never worked inside the same fwd line. But fritta still has to perform or he is out again.

I do like our fwd line with just 2 talls, especially if we can play like we did v the dockers!

Can't say I'm thrilled about it either. Not because I don't want him back but we need to set standard of work rate in that forward line.

Hope he brings it.

Good changes.

Only missing 1-2 from the 22 now

Having Bowey, Windsor, Lindsay, Kolt, McVee, Langford, Pickett in the same team makes a HUGE difference.

Skill, pace, youth

One win can make a big big difference

After strong Round 6 showings, the Dees and Tigers are set for a blockbuster clash, in front of a sell-out crowd.

from MFC website, still lots of tickets don’t think it will be close to a sell out??

Fritta getting dropped was about giving him a kick up the [censored], it was never about him kicking a bag in the magoos

Thrilled our forward line savant is back

No idea if he can actually play but having AMW in that mix would be fun

Would've liked Melk in to tag Vlastuin, and stop the intercept mark, less of an issue with Balta hamstrung by the ankle bracelet after dark.....

Fritta a perfect opportunity to stand up now!

Not sure about Fritsch getting an immediate recall after a so-so VFL performance.

Saying that, if we play like we did against Freo, Fritsch will be one who'll highly benefit.

Fritsch, was disinterested and lazy last week and he gets a call up???? PARK ME club is rewarding mediocrity NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

I guess we will see if Fritsch has learnt anything from getting dropped despite not having to earn his spot back in the vfl first. Hopefully just the fact he knows he’s not an automatic selection will be enough. I hope Goodwin has the balls to send him back down if he still has his bad habits.

With Melksham being managed not ommitted who do you suggest be promoted in the role that Melksham plays or should I take a guess? No forward looked worth anything at Casey last week based on what I saw but a role needs to be filled and the Fritsch will know if he does not perform he will be back out with Melksham back the following week. He should be given a defensive job on Vlaustin and be purely assessed against his ability to execute it.

I am with you played 3 quarters of poor football at Casey and back in. He had better get a couple tomorrow night.

He cannot play that role, there is a hardly a defensive bone in his body.

Why would you play him down back he would be a disaster.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
