Has to be the worst football jumper I've ever seen.

It’s pretty close.

But I think Hawthorn still has that covered – their ridiculous Power Rangers top, and maybe even the Harlequin one as runner-up.

Seems to be the way things are going.

Just need to be linked to other sides/go Home factor, be in the middle of contract negotiations, and then have one or two “breakout” games.

Might try and get a job with the suns. Be a mail boy for $450,000 a year, haha

Just when you think Hawthorn have designed the worst jumper in history they come up with a even worse one. GC's new one is just such a nothing guernsey. I'm not a fan of having big stupid looking logos in the centre of them but having an invisible one is probably worse. Most of the post VFL teams have gone from eyesores to traditional styled ones eventually. Think Power, Dockers and the Brisbane Bears. GWS and GC will probably do the same eventually.

It's not hard to understand ...he plays for himself. Culture killer.

The best clubs understand that a team is a mix of people and personalities as much as football or positional abilities.

The pies are very strong and well run club and have a bold FD that act on what they are seeing.

He's been OK at the Hawks in a team they were trying to inject personality into. Now they're getting serious he'll fall by the wayside.

This isn’t explaining what happened in the trade this is you mansplaining what you think me & my ovaries don’t understand

To be fair, the Hawks have an advantage with their colours 😳

Are you really saying that you didn’t like the traditional power lightning bolt? Or traditional Green purple and white Freo/Balkans flag?

Sydney looking bog ordinary in skills and structure.

Hi Stu. Yeah, I thought both were horrible. The current Dockers one is much better but I would add mint green trim. Perhaps on the middle chevron. A mint green clash guernsey would look good too.

interesting to see that bevo continues to mix things up - o'donnell and khamis have swapped ends from the first five weeks, and the bont and libba have started at centre bounces positioned deensively

Hoping the best for Sam Darcy

Nasty hyperextension to Sam Darcy's knee. Subbed out. Hope not too serious for his sake.

I am a real fan of Buku Khamis, love the way he plays. If the Dogs have to find a way to keep Naughton, Darcy and JUH I would make a play for this kid. Could be anything.

Anyone watching the game? do the Saints have a chance?

inside 50’s of 35 to 11 days no but who knows?

Doesn’t look good, they showed his family crying down in the rooms.

And again the ‘top 4’ Saints show they are rubbish

Dodgy Ross will pick up his paycheque none the less

jesus. saw the footage

Darcy is gone. poor kid

unlucky for the bloke, but about time other rivals pick up the injury bug we have had to start the season

Saints don’t have a midfield. Why bother spending 1.5+ large on TDK.

If I was them I’d be looking for inside midfielders.

What the hell has happened to Jack Steele.

Maybe the problem is tis new happy & relaxed version of Ross Lyon 😂

Ah yes, the old "they've gone past us" Saints at it again.

(Which made no sense to say, given they finished above us on the ladder last year, but is just a timely reminder that it's very easy to get sucked into early-season form - and that's also a reminder to people on here who have already started talking about us winning the next two or whatever).

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
