DD's take on our position now...

Recommended Posts

That is complete and unadulterated tripe.

That in all honesty is the dumbest thing said on this board.

Is there some sort of a competition going on to see who can post the dumbest thing tonight...

First McLean is not a team player, now Neita is not contributing to the side... have we been attacked by bitter Collingwood supporters, or is there something seriously wrong here?

P.S.- watch the language people.

End of year trade Travis Johnstone, he is mentally F@cked up.

Welcome to 2003....

I'm pretty sure he's cleaned up his act. Just look at him before, during and after games...always offering support and geeing up the players. Looks everybit a leader on the field, a massive contrast to the early days.

Played some brilliant footy in rounds 8 and 9, after an injury effected start. Was the only player to hold his head up high in our thrashing in Perth - a sign of maturity and leadership.

Very harsh call that IMO.

Mate, doesnt incosistent proformances show you that he is mentally soft. I also have heard from reliable sources he is a big drinker and gambler...I honestly hope I am right. He has all the potenitial in the world, but he just does not put in the hard yards IMO. You are entiteled to you opinion.

I have also heard that he likes women too! :o

Honestly, your comments on TJ are some of the most derogatory and uninformed rubbish you would read on a supporter site. If you feel you have further comments like that about TJ or any other player, I suggest you keep it to yourself and not post it. ;)

Those people out ther who want to give Neale another chance need to go to another club. We have given this man too many chances now. He should have been sacked 3 yrs ago. David Neitz is going down each year and should retire not what I heard on Monday that he wants to give it another year, NO DAVID NO.

We need new leadership on the field and off. Our current committee needs a great shake up and should be seen more. Paul Gardiner needs to look for another job as all his promises he made when he took over have gone down the drain. We need an exciting new President like McGuire, Pratt etc. Someone who has get up and go.

The problem with MFC is we have too many old foggies who are scared to change. Lets go ahead and win

You joined up yesterday, quote yourself, bag the coach, absurdly snipe at the captain, call for the ditching of the board, and insist we find an 'Eddie McGuire' to take over.

How ya doin, Joffa?

You are to stupid to understand what a business is all about. Think before you put me down. I want this club to get on not wait another 10 years before we can win a flag. We will never win a flag under our present coach.Don't give him another year we have given him to many chances. Let us find a coach who can go into the futre with MFC.

Out of curiousity I wonder what a package of Travis and Brad Miller and a middle position first round draft pick could land us for next year? That might be enough to pull a top 25 player (in the comp) should he wish to play for melbourne/retun to Victoria.

Oh dear. To me, you look pretty silly right now.

I notionally support retaining Daniher unless a stand-out coach becomes available, and I am comfortable with retaining a a stable board which has set itself ambitious goals and appears to be moving well towards them while paying down millions of dollars of debt in just a few years. I'm not keen on a return to board instability in itself, either. We've all seen that and it's just not helpful.

Call me risk-averse if you like, but please don't tell me I'm too stupid to understand business.

I'd be interested in any particular criticisms you (and everyone else) have of Daniher. I'm not fighting from his corner or anything - his lack of initiative in that horrid run to finish 2003 left a permanent dent in my patience. But I recognise he has the respect of the players, and I can also see that we're really not far off being a powerhouse team. Some injury luck and some corrections to particular problems (eg Bruce's kicking) and we would be a truly potent force.

I just don't think we're in a situation which calls for major disruptions.

What we must look at is MFC is a business and what each person in the business is putting in. Over the last few years David is putting in less and less. Just look at his stats.

ur a tool mate! stats dont mean anything brother its the 1%s he does.. like being that big forward target and presenting and crashing into players and kicking goals for us! and one dam good thing he does the best is LEADERSHIP! did u watch the Collingwood game when he stuffed his knee up and we all thought he was gone but came back with so much courage and showed what a true leader he is!

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
