Because ol' mate Barrett has excelled himself by proceeding directly from giving Hawthorn a [censored] for how much they 'don't care what anyone thinks' and how every club should follow their example - "The attitude is stunningly compelling and powerfully effective." to Melbourne; "seems a tad fake and even forced. Seems to be a lot of recreation of history, too. Oh well, it’s been a well-coordinated media strategy" Am I the only one who looks at Hawthorn's obsessive social media attention seeking and sees... obsessive social media attention seeking? Anyway, I was always going to watch tonight for the sake of getting a little warm-up dose of football, but I really think for the first time in my life I'm actually going to be wishing injuries upon a team. It's not like hating Collingwood or even Essendon, where the fault lies with the some mix of the club leaders, the coteries, the fan culture, and some particularly annoying individuals. At Hawthorn the players really have bought in to the whole 'precocious little [censored]' fantasy with a terrible case of main character syndrome. Hmm, let's not say injuries, even now I can't do it. Let's just hope that seven of their players get pinged for recreational pee-in-a-cup results on the same weekend and all have to sit out the next two years while they wait for AFL lawyers to bother submitting paperwork. Lmao, Barrett can barely pass as someone his mum would be proud of. God forbid, but Barrett can suddenly pass and no one would give a [censored]. He’s an absolute stain. Wouldn’t pay much heed. 1 Quote

Bring-Back-Powell 15,540 Posted Friday at 06:17 Posted Friday at 06:17 For Sunday's game, how do you go from potentially 70mm of rain to potentially just 5mm of rain in the space of 24 hours. I was leveraging off GWS slogging it out in heavy conditions in preparation for our game next weekend, but now it looks like it could be a dry game 1 Quote

Not whimsically so like Melbourne weather, but in deep mood swings that settle and then swing around all over. 5 minutes ago, 58er said: Why ? Most have been minor; the most damaging were tropical cyclones Dinah in January 1967 and Wanda in 1974. 1 Quote

I've had the same load of washing rained on 3 times this week, because the weather changes are sudden and not as forecasted 😅 1 Quote

I am not sure I rate him that highly anymore. Still better than BT though. Quote
Newport34 392 Posted Friday at 08:40 Posted Friday at 08:40 The footy is back baby! Hoping the hawks return to earth with a thud. And that jumper looks sheet. 2 Quote
GS_1905 346 Posted Friday at 08:40 Posted Friday at 08:40 I think Swans by a 10+ goal margin which will send all the pundits that selected Hawks as their premiership favourite back under the rock they crawled out of. 2 Quote
dees189227 12,509 Posted Friday at 08:41 Posted Friday at 08:41 Gee it feels like years ago Grundy played for us. Wonder who Dean cox will spray in the box like horse used to. Quote
