May I suggest that you'd have a much better day if you put this particular poster on block.

Maybe you should take your own advice?

Such a lot of argument about what we should get for Judd.

There was a lot in the papers and on the AFL website about whether he would stay or go. They don't usually write much about minor, who-cares players. Also, the Mongrel Punt appears to rate him pretty highly. And presumably so do Freo.

Seems to me that he is a better player than pick 39.

(Kolt) said “ Seeya at preseason!” I said, “Yeah, I’ll see you in December.” He said, “No, we start back in November, on the 11th, six weeks from tomorrow.” Bless his eager little heart 🥹

I'll be back in December, and this time I'm staying. See you (and Kolt and the boys) at pre-season training sometime! And I'll be able to go to games (if my poor heart can stand it - watching the tv has half-killed me at times, dunno how I'll cope with at the ground) and and and...

Would take that in a heart beat and run!

22 year old KPF who's already topped 40 goals a season. Not gonna happen though. We'd have to throw in something additional to get a deal like that done sadly.

Would we??? I think it fair and lk ike it alot!

The point came directly from the coach to McVee face-to face.

The positional thing sounds like a cop off to me. I think for a reason we don’t yet know he feels the need to be in WA.

This is why it’s all BS

It’s all about jumping off a sinking ship, joining a football team that will play finals and contest

If WA was his concern he wouldn’t nominate a club. Simple

Hey PF,

Tried to PM you but got the notification PF cannot receive messages. As far as I know this means either (a) your mailbox is full, or (b) you’ve got me on ignore (again 😅).

Anyways, I need to make good on the bet.

PS another DL-er took a screenshot of a really nice post of yours from yesterday and texted it to me. Thank you for not being a smug smart-arze who couldn’t wait to mock me, when the fact is you’re the only one who could be forgiven for doing so.

I’d be curious to have a poll, who people are mad at more, Judd or Christian?

Judd.

Christian has given some much to the club regardless what people think of the current circumstances. Premiership player, best and fairest winner etc etc..

McVee can get [censored]. We picked him when every other club ignored him, put ample amount of support around him, helped with his hamstring injury, only to then throw it back at our face.

Happy to do the deal on the last day of trade period after making it clear that we want to deal with West Coast and not Freo.

We're not going to do that. He's nominated Freo, he's OOC, one way or another it'll be Freo.

None of us have to like it.

Exactly.

Once they nominate thats it.. literally the last person to backflip to another club that had initally nominated a destination club was probably Mitch Clark.

You’re keeping up perfectly coz that’s exactly what happened.

I was in a café, Kolt came over, we had a big hug and he told me about his holiday with his brother and Luker in Japan. We talked about other stuff then he said, “how about Judd, that was a shock.” And that’s exactly how it went.

Sounds like it's definitely sayonara then.

Some Freo fans here in Perth suggest a straight swap for Jye Amiss.

If he is Jye Amiss at Freo he’ll be Jye A-out-of-bounds-on-the-full in our side

I saw that post too and thought it was very magnanimous of PF. Nice to see some decent feelings.

Acres kicked the goal, but you were right on what happened, except you forgot to mention that Viney caused it, by kicking a horrible short kick straight to Weitering, that led to the Judd contest which he misjudged and then the pass to two Blues on Fritta.

Had Viney kicked it anywhere else, even out on the full, we win.

Actually, IMHO it all started with Lever who had the ball on the HBF - right in front of me. Rivers was completely free 20m behind his right shoulder and if he had kicked it to him a further 20 seconds would have been wasted - and probably it would have affected Carlton's setup for the down the line kick. I, and others, were screaming for him to do that. BUT he kicked it down the line and rest is sad history.

So for all the talk of the meaningless-ness (new word i just made up) of long term contracts, this is exactly why they have merit. It provides clubs with options (for the cost of a salary cap that has to be paid anyway) when players want to jump ship. Its got nothing to do with loyalty.

What?

McVee is simply out of contract. His well within his rights to exercise his options elsewhere as we speak and thats clearly Fremantle.

I dont put McVee and loyalty in the same basket.

"Fremantle’s pitch to Judd McVee contained a very specific vision, but it wasn’t the most compelling part of the presentation.

The Dockers got him over the line by showing him how he was playing at the Demons.

Under Simon Goodwin and then caretaker Troy Chaplin he was pigeonholed as a last-line defender playing on footy’s dangerous smalls.

As the Dockers showed him, his disposals and intercept possessions had dropped off and he was barely a presence in the rebound game given his lack of handball receives.

They told him they could develop him like they had 2025 All Australian Jordan Clark as an attacking running back."

Freo aren't giving up 11 for that return, and McVee isn't worth 11

pick 11 in a weak draft and will be pushed back a number of picks as we know. hes absolutely worth pick 11. cough up or weagles take him in the preseason draft.

That’s one way to get someone over. Pull up clips of how [censored] they are lol

No wonder Fremantle is the smaller club in Perth

And our new coach couldn’t overcome that [censored] to force him into a rethink? King has talked of a reset, more attacking game style, meets McVee who says he wants more attacking role but after meeting requests transfer! The new coach is not having a great impact so far.

I am not mad at either but i will not be happy with the club if we not get a good deal out of both.

I have a feeling the club won’t play hardball owing to the previous seasons, but fingers crossed I am wrong.

With Trac we have all the power so should accept literally nothing unless it’s brilliant and McVee can go into the draft.

A attacking game style sounds great but what will happen if say a Cameron kicks 5 on Howes,Bowie or Salem, with a quarter to go,will be back to McVee🤔
