Dees to make it four Queens Birthday on the trot

After an inspiring effort against the Crows last week, the Demons are officially back

Despite still being ruined bu injury, we gave the Crows an absolute hiding. It was a joy to watch the liked of Bate, Bell, Jones, Frawley and Petterd put on a show. I have been a Demon supporter a for along time, and the youth we have coming through now is the best I have ever seen at there club. The young brigade is no good, it is GREAT. Every kid looks like they have the potential to be a star

So now on to the Queens Birthday, where we have well and truly but the horror patch of of 2001-2003 behind us to won the last 3 over those dirty Magpie losers

How sweet it will be this Monday, when we absolutely mangle those pathetic Black and White bastards. Their fans will be on suicide watch as they get absolutely pantsed by a team sitting at 1-9.

The Pies are simply no good. They may be 7-3, but they are flying under the radar. They have no talent. No good players. Rocca is still fat and ugly. Brodie Holland is still a [censored]. Buckley is still 45 years of age.

We have way too much toughness and class. Our youngsters alone are better than their seasoned veterans. Their fans are clueless. And still have no teeth.

The result

Demons by 87 points in a spellbinding display of ferocious attacking football. 2 on the trot, in what will be end up being a 10 game winning streak to catapult us into a record making Finals appearance

Melbourne - 23.15 - 153

Collingwood - 10.6 - 66

Goals - Neitz, Sylvia 5, Robertson 4, Davey, Johnstone, Bate 2, Bruce, McLean, Petterd

Best - Davey, Sylvia, McLean, Carroll, Bate, Bell, Neitz

It will be a case of 'Season Dee-railed' for the criminal lowlifes from Magpie land

Yze Magic is right on the money with this one.

Like usual, Collingwood is highly overrated.

We will hit hard this week. last week was just a warm up.

overrated or a well coached and well drilled side. regardless of score they keep on coming. team effort. not relying on 5-6 every week like we do most of the time. for f**ks sake , someone started a poll after saturdays game about ND`s future. we had one win. if Malthouse coached us we would have a flag. Bruce and Green need to play like that every week, and when we tackle we smash them. the ball does not come out unless its Jones, Brocky or Junior pumping out a handball from their hands and knees.

I apologise for the delay... i've been away on the GENISTA, a hallucinogen in the magic practices of Yaqui medicine men in northern Mexico. I've spent the last 2 days speaking with Norm...

The curse has been lifted. Unfortunately, it won't take full effect till Season 08, but I've been assured that the game against the Pies is a sure win.

There was no mention of margin or individual results, only a certain team effort to give the Magpies the reality check they've needed for Season 07.

I was told that the leaders of the club finally come of age, and that Brock, White, Green, Bruce, Neitz and Macca play with such conviction and determination, that boys like Jones, Pettard, Colin, Bate, Frawley and PJ realise once and for all how lucky they are to be playing in the Red&Blue.

It's a turning point for the club's future on Monday.... and I will be there with all of you to enjoy it.

GO THE MIGHTY DEES!!!

If everyone of the 22 hits the ball first, puts their body on the line and shows no regard for their personal well being, then we will beat the filth and in a way that we want!!

Last week we were first to the ball, we put our heads over it at all times and were not worried about the sacrifices - whether it be Flash flying in front of the Roo, Greeny backing into packs, Matthew Bate copping one for a shepherd, Daniel Bell backing himself in time and time again, etc, etc...

the signs were good and I expect them to continue - we have found a way to win and well, we will lift again....

I am expecting a win this weekend on the back of our midfield and no Clement who has usually been a thorn in the side!!!

Come on you good thing!!

overrated or a well coached and well drilled side.

both. they are well coached and well drilled.

but they are defiantly overrated.

Look at Heath Shaw. No doubt this kid has had an awesome year so far. But the collingwood fans and media believe he is bigger than jesus christ.

If he played for Melbourne, no one from another club would even know his name.

Its the same with all of there players.

I think the dees with get up but it with be a tough game with us winning by 5 points

Remember ... they have not had a belting this year, Malthouse locks out the backline even if they are 2 goals up.

His squad is drilled to hang on to the ball, I wish we did against Port, Dogs and Roos.

I will take a 1 point win

I'll be there to watch Hermione... err.. i mean, Dale Thomas and friends brushed aside by a hard-at-it, first-to-the-ball, more-hyphens-please Demons outfit that's finally playing four quarters of aggressive, contested football.

I'll bet Robbo will relish being released from the clamp that he usually gets from Clement too.

Dees by 12 points.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
