Set for a 1 year extension

Have to assume we aren’t getting Max Heath or any other ready to go number 2 then.

Someone mentioned our next coach will be Campbell’s 7th or 8th coach during his 58 game career. That some kind of record?

In the premier league the 3rd keeper often an old journeyman who never plays.

Seems we have imported this tradition.

Let’s hope Max doesn’t get injured. If he does TC would be an excellent replacement in the short term. But Will Verrall’s development must be kept in consideration.

i thought that at first too but maybe its actually verrall is on the chopping blocks, apart from maybe one 20 disposal game he has barely fired a shot, especially around the ground for a smaller agile ruckman, and the draftee rucks this year arent exactly writing headlines so maybe thats the route we're thinking whilst also maintaining some professionalism and essentially a playing coach

Yep 1 year deal, astute move!

I'm okay with Campbell getting another year, but neither he or Verrall is our long term Gawn replacement.

The sooner we get our future no.1 ruckman on to the list, learning from Gawn, the better.
