How the hell did daicos poll a vote kings birthday? Neal Bullen held him to his lowest possessions.  Even daicos looked shocked.

Nick Daicos subbed off with only 15 disposals. He gets a vote 🤷

His brother however, got 34 disposals

Daicos is going to win by the one vote isn't he? And it will be that one ridiculous kings birthday vote he got against us

How the fuurg did Faicos pol queens birthday when Nibbler DEEESTROYED HIM JOKE AFL

Farcical. Incompetent. Corrupt. There were 25 players that day who scored more AF points than Nick Daicos. Absolute joke.

Poor bont. Not much love this year

Andrew Dillon’s wife was interviewed before the Brownlow and said (words to the effect of) that Bont (surprisingly) doesn’t get close. I’m assuming this was just an educated guess, as my understanding was that no one knows the outcome of the vote prior to the winner being announced.

Daicos getting a vote on KB was a dagger to the king's heart

Don't worry, his homoeopath will fix that up in no time.

Yep. @WheeloRatings's currently got him at a reasonable likelihood of passing 40 votes (the record is 36 IIRC).

That's an indictment on the rest of the Carlton squad to let 1 player get nearly half of the teams votes.

Well said Gus. The emphasis on “anger” will be lost on those who need to hear it.

100% recognised the emphasis he put on that.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
