Featured Replies

Thatโ€™s ok this is fine nothing to worry about all good no worries just a hiccup sheโ€™ll be right no stress

Such a beautiful young family. Sad to hear they separated.

Dang, she has deleted all things kozzie off social media and doesnt even follow him anymore.

I hope they are both okay. Always a hard situation when there is children involved.

SEN article, doesn't really add anything but puts it all in one place.

Kozzie Pickett in Darwin to deal with personal issue

The Dees star is dealing with a non-footy matter.

Not good news. Children involved, his head might be elsewhere for a little while..

Classic MFCSS jumping to the conclusion he's going to ask to be traded when he's just signed a new long term deal....biggest in club history

You're accusing a poster of having their head in the sand because they don't mindlessly agree with your completey uninformed guess that Koz is out the door because you've heard a rumour he and his partner have split up and she gone to Darwin?

Seriously?

Itโ€™s not a rumour Garyโ€™s news was a statement from the club

Firstly before i launch into MFCSS mode and all jokes aside. That is tragic for the family and i hope whatever the reason, they can work it out for the sake of that innocent child.

Im sure everyone is thinking this but what is it with MFC and off field drama in consecutive years? Whilst it was appearing that things were calm and settled this year, on the dawn of our season, we have this! Adding salt to injury, it continues to happen to our star players! Like what in the AF have we done to upset the footy gods.

Those long term contracts hey...

Wouldn't it be significantly worse not the have him tied up long term in these sort of situations?

Hope all is well, I can just see how this will unravel, get ready for a media bashing in particular Cornes

For sure but it does make you think about the length of these deals.

Please respect Kozzyโ€™s and his familyโ€™s privacy and avoid speculating about the reasons behind the split. It is a personal matter and not our business. A statement has been made confirming the separation, and that should be left at that. Discussion about any football-related ramifications for Kozzyโ€™s future is fine, but personal details and private matters should not be discussed here.

Steven Kingโ€™s press conference is being streamed on you tube, said that Kozzy may have to go to Darwin once a month, doesnโ€™t sound good

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, weโ€™ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binmanโ€™s Stats Files. Not because it isnโ€™t important; quite the opposite. Itโ€™s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneโ€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearโ€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itโ€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayโ€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolโ€™s gold.
