Losing Choco is no disaster. Fresh ideas are needed and I get he’s doing great work with our young players but surely so can the next person.

The vibes I get is that the club, players, media and supporters are all getting different stories from Team Petracca. Are we anywhere closer to the truth of what’s happening and why? I don’t think so. It’s an unholy mess and Team Petracca trashing his brand as well as our brand is the only clarity I can see.

McClure especially likes to take a sliver of information, present it, and then loudly draw sensational conclusions (subject to some subtly mentioned if's) - it seems an attempt to create a reason to try and prompt further reactions to the story, and then have the reactions become the story and feed the media, rather than the underlying substance.

After McClure's intro the other night, a caller phoned 3aw and said how poor they thought it was that not one phone call or text from any Player, Coach or anyone from MFC for 2-weeks when he went into Hospital... was a disgrace... McClure thanked the caller for his call, before Richo jumped in and challenged McClure on whether what the caller said was confirmed, and McClure was forced to say no one said that he hadn't been contacted at all.... and then said that he thought the caller had "taken my story and put it on steroids"

I'll always be greatful for everyrhing the club brought us in 2021.  Hoping the sun shines brighter for everyone involved from here.

We need to lift the seemingly darkish shroud of late and move on as quickly as possible and reset on our path towards more success.

Not sure about that.  There are not so attractive sports people making a living from self promotion in the various ways I mention.  And those of yesteryear probably aren't social media savvy like today's sports stars are. 

Today's sporting stars eg Bailey Smith, Dangerfield, Weightman are also making a very good living from their self promotion outside of football. 

Demon fans may be more loyal to the club but I suspect we aren't his target market.  Ditto with the other three AFL players I mentioned their club's fans may not be their target market.

I think we lacked discipline late last year: Kossi then Roos' high bumps and even though they are young, it was disappointing.

Has our fitness programme been poor?

Whatever she did or didn't do, Christian makes it quite clear that it was appreciated! No hint here of him being disappointed by the response!

I wonder if, when last year Melksham did his acl and was to be sidelined for 12 months he got many calls from Kate?

Well said and not something I'd considered as much on the first listen to it.

Heart in the right place but probably found herself needing to re-clarify her stance more than she could have.
