Wow…

some of the Comments made on this thread are truly disgraceful

CP5 is our one and only Norm Smith Medalist, who could have died wearing the MFC Jumper earlier this year.

It’s obvious most of you don’t know what went on last offseason and to what extent.
There are bridges to mend, not just from CP5

Think we all want what is best for our club... some are more privy to information than others, so if you wish to elaborate??

Oh please, Clarry was not a problem when he won back to back coaches awards, or 4 B&Fs or 3 AAs

There are for sure issues that need to be worked out on both sides, nobody has ever denied it. To every story there are 3 sides.

But supporters of this club have a right to feel aggrieved when a well paid leader of the club chooses to air dirty laundry in public via Tom goddamn Morris, as do his teammates.

And please stop coming on here and pretending like you are the only one with 'inside' information about what went on in the last off season. You'd be surprised who knows what around here.

In case you haven't seen @WalkingCivilWar training thread here is her exclusive photo of Tracc at training today.

Screenshot 2024-08-19 at 13-10-01 TRAINING Monday 19th August 2024 - Melbourne Demons - Demonland.png

Tom Morris is in a rubbish bin to the left just outside of the photo. He would be hiding in the portaloo if if the club were allowed to have toilets adjacent to the oval, instead of being forced to use the public toilets along Swan St much to the displeasure of Demon fans.

It's been about 5 hours since I found out Trac was meeting with the players today, where are you Tom Morris?

I expected a full rundown of the minutes of the meeting, accompanied by an interpretive dance by now.

She came out of the rooms after the Gold Coast game and came near the players bus where everyone was waiting and was looking for her sister, not one person said anything back to her. You could feel the awkwardness.

Ablett bailed on Geelong in 2010. They got smashed by Collingwood in the prelim, and after four great years it looked like it might be over with their aging stars.

Turn the page to 2011, Hawkins finally gets going and has an amazing Grand Final, while Duncan and Christiansen had a few really important moments. They win another one.

I'd love Trac to stay and retire here. But, he is in his prime and his value is likely never going to be higher at the trade table.

If he's really that unhappy, and a deal can be stuck for fair value, then I guess let's reload with kids and see if we can get back to the top of the mountain.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
