Here’s an interesting article from Jonty Ralphsmith on some draft prospects who have been injured or otherwise unexposed with projected draft positions -

Out of sight, out of mind: Nine draft prospects on AFL Draft radar

• Zeke Uwland (Gold Coast Academy, utility) - projected # 1

Koby Evans (Perth, forward/midfielder) - late rookie

• Jevan Phillipou (Woodville-West Torrens, midfielder) - 15 to 20

Liam Hetherton (Murray Bushrangers, key forward) 25 to 45

Sam Allen (Oakleigh Chargers, midfielder) - late rookie

Felix Kniepp (Calder, halfback) - late rookie

Will Darcy (Oakleigh Chargers, tall defender) - late rookie

Harrison Bridge (Brisbane Academy, defender) - late rookie

Tom Matthews (Gippsland Power, small forward) - late rookie

Possibly of limited use for the MFC because a few are academy or father/son which is where we already have our own prospec

i really like bridge or sharkie as HB options if we dont go farrow at 11

i actually think we shouldn't be selecting a mid this year, more so a player who could move in their down the line as it is a weaker draft and i think we have a lot of options still who can go in there, riv, koz, viney, windsor, langford, steele, even langdon has spent time at CBAs in the last 12 months but we can certainly improve other areas of the ground,

most of our delisted players were actually HF/HB types as are the OOC bunch next year, meaning thats where we're likely to be cutting again so we would do well to get ahead of that now with some of these names at 37 or with our rookie pick. (fwiw i think we skip sinnema)

the other name @spirit of norm smith has flagged is rory wright as a HB type who could move into the guts in time

i also like the hetherton shout too as well but maybe the talls will be a focus next year after we lose potentially 3-4 off the list and given we have white coming in i think its unlikely we take a second tall this year as well (unless we take a rookie ruck like Marcus Krasnadamskis

I've seen Aaron Sharkie play a few times for Oakleigh and mainly played off half back but they threw him in the middle when they needed to get things moving so he can do both. He sets up the play and takes the game on and is damaging with ball and IMHO is better value that Josh Lindsay. He is what we need to compliment the other attacking players like Langford and Windsor.

I’m getting a vibe for Greeves and Farrow???

greeves🤮 we dont need a will setterfield type plodding big midfielder when the game is all about burst and spread and ball use

Everyone is talking about this year's draft depth and quality, whilst there isn't anyone as exciting or standout as Langford, the top bunch still have good AFL traits and talent.

At the end of the day, we will still get the 7th & 8th best kid in the system (outside academies of course)

Who knows how the teams ahead of us will pick, with all the back to back picks, teams may go for needs over best available and we may get someone higher on our list.

Anyway, as always at this time of year. In Taylor we trust!!

Greeves. Im a no. Big lad but lacks a burst of speed. He’s a 6”3’ midfielder and overpowers others in the junior comp. But against the men of the AFL, he will need more tricks. He does kick it 60 metres easily and is smart but I’m not sure he’s a go to player for us.

Farrow. I’m a no. He has some tools and although not quite in the same echelon , he’s got Langford quality of being able to run and compete in marking duels. But alas a no. He’s a WA boy and I’m still recovering from the Farmer, Hogan, Jackson & McVee retreat to home base departures.
