i think we've put the cue in the rack for the year. no fight at all.

boomers are playing later on. think i'll watch that instead

Pleased they’re switched on for the game tonight 🤦🏼‍♂️

The coach talks about the Melbourne style of game, tonight’s effort is quickly becoming our new brand unfortunately.

Clarry can get [censored].. that’s 5 missed tackles. Absolutely pathetic

30 more possessions

14 more inside 50s

+14% disposal efficiency

9 clearances to 0

+10 contested

lol they kick goals from the boundary and Fritsch barely makes the distance from 35 out.

Time to live in denial and put the 2021 replay back on everyone 🔴🔵🏆

Melksham’s IQ is the only thing that’s on fire today.

thought JVR should have kicked that goal himself.

not to worry. fritschy gets us on the board

Feel like we've eased our way into the game in the last five minutes.

Melksham with some great efforts on Liam Jones

Sorry but Chandler is a spud.

On the basis of past weeks that’s not HTB. Love the consistency.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
