Tonight at 7:30 Jake is on the couch at some point.

the romsey manor couch or the tv?

Geez, once he starts he can’t stop talking. Love Lever.

He had a big smile on his face when they showed a couple of stats (defensive) we are number 1 in over the last 4 years.

The way they argue just shows how much they care. I don’t like May having a go at the younger players, but he and Lever lead that backline and their passion and perfectionism is what makes them the best defensive duo in the league. They always want to get better and bring everyone else with them.

Our backline has saved our [censored] so many times in the last few years. They are absolutely the hallmark of our team.

It must be daunting being interviewed by Gazz, Bucks and Johnno Brown, Jake looked calm relaxed and showed just how smart and articulate he is, he gave the whole Men’s Department a wrap.!!

Anyone else thinking he could be a  Coach one day? My mad Hawthorn mate still teases me about the time I called him up (in 2020 as an excited 50y.o.) saying we now had the best defence I had seen in my life and to watch out hence my Demonland handle).

I too loved Buck's calling us a big club, as a favour to Garry no doubt.

the thing that i loved is the first thign i noticed in the highlight of the opening ceremony to anzac day eve lever smiled at windsor and made it clear how special it is to be involved in a game like this...

...and then lever specifically talked about that on the couch

he's such a natural leader

Well my last comment got hidden so ill rephrase: Given the added context now for Entrecôte, clearly May has professional standards that some players who aren't in the team right now weren't living up to.

He should be captain, but hard to replace Gawn who's such a star and lead us to a flag.

Jake's the most natural leader at the club, probably in the top few leaders in the whole league, and could be a future coach. We're blessed to have him.

Jake Lever 👏👏👏👏

He has been a great player and as a leader in the footy club.

Well spoken and insightful.  No BS.  👏👏👏👏
