An ugly weekend if scores that is for sure !

ar least the Demons have not lost !

Now Blues play Cats without Stewart and coming back from a heavy interstate slogfest.

Edited by Redleg

Why didn't Greene just have his arms out to mark the ball?

I get he was probably trying to protect himself, but when he turned that's when he was going to be in trouble.ย

Will they baulk? ย
Kozzie would get 4-6 for that without a doubt. Its not as if Toby gets the โ€œ never been suspended despite multiple finesโ€ Cameron discount, though he will probably get the GW$ needs a flag discountย

Cameron never gets suspended because your right each time he offends they roll out the.....but he's never been suspended defence. And they buy it.

The defendant pleads not guilty your honor because he's never been found to be before. The defence rests.

Whatโ€™s this โ€˜slight push in the backIโ€™ bs?

It was blatant.

Concussion. Back for us of course.

Gee suddenly west coast have found a gear

With how bad they have been the last 2+ years, all media and commentary forgot how good their coach is, and his track record in developing players. I rate Simpson in the same way I rate Goodwin andย  if I was a lot younger (and a better footballer!) would love to play in a team coached by him. They have a long way to go, but can see them making it difficult for teams sooner rather than later.ย

Lions going to 2-4 isnโ€™t a bad thing.

Well you donโ€™t know that. Concussion protocols are one thing, recovery from concussion is another. Itโ€™s not always linear.ย

Nice that these two games are staggered so as to miss all the half time drivel.ย

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the โ€˜G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • NON-MFC: Round 7

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
