I have only watched the last 5 minutes of the Blues v Crows game. Do Carlton supporters think a tackle means holding the ball? Just shut up.

Having dealt with carlton supporters on social media the past few days, they think they're right & entitled to everything.

I like this call team of huddo, gaz & browny

They do not understand the rules. It’s a byproduct of not going to the footy for 15 years.

And some the English language.

Does anyone else have issues with their foxtel where it just does random things?

Yeah. They draw money out of my bank account. Seriously though I have not noticed a problem.

2 players down can make a huge impact. Lucky to hang on

They were only one rotation down for less than a quarter.

Sub covered the first and the other was in the last Q

Yes i know all that, but it is still a massive disadvantage

momentum swings ….

Crows with 11 marks inside 50 for 9 shots at goal

🤔

Anyone got a link to the Sam Taylor incident? missed it

hope he’s alright

It actually doesn't look like much in the action but it followed the worst case scenario of being tipped at the same time as momentarily losing consciousness and then having a second heavy head impact with the ground. The image of him slow-spasming on the ground is true horror and it apparently wasn't until after he had been stretchered to the rooms that he regained consciousness, which is a frighteningly long time.

Wishing the best for him.

Huddo commentating his blues is so cringe…

Feels like a 13 year old fan boy commentating from his bed room

He's A Geelong supporter?

Carlton fans think the free kick count every week should be 156-0. Entitled morons after 20 years of being rubbish.

Can we just scrap the SRS, [censored].

[censored] me… has me fooled

It must be nice watching tight Carlton games safe in the knowledge that the umpires will go to work in the last quarter.

The commentary is like it’s the 2014 Hawks playing current WC.

Blues have finals once in 11 years and it’s just we know the Blues will win….

zero respect for the Crows or their fans

Carlton fans booing the umpires when they’ve had one less free for the game, but 4 goals from very questionable frees.

My least favourite supporters by a mile.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
