GWS remind me of us in 21. Itโ€™s the hunger and belief that we just donโ€™t have.

after round 1, 2021, i thought we were due for a super average year, as we squeaked home by 22 against flagmantle in one of the most lacklustre games at the mcg yr ever likely to see

Yeah it was a pretty meh win off memory even though we kicked the first 4 goals of the game.

Round 4 2021 V Geelong at the MCG was the first time I started to believe something was brewing.

Whatever you think of GWS, their media team appears to be further ahead of others in terms of putting out content that's not stock standard. For mine, this is just funny stuff.

Sorry, but to my mind that is pretty infantile and I'm surprised any professional media department produced it.ย  Did they really?ย  (Of course I take delight in GWS beating the bastards.)

Sue, we'll have to agree to disagree on this. I'm guessing the social media team of GWS would have to think outside the box to get attention. I like it. And yes, I am relatively infantile.

Given the rugby-heavy market they are operating in, NSW-Vic rivalry, and the age demographic they'll be trying to reach, this is pretty funny trolling from them.

That's how I view it. They know it will gain traction too because of the Collingwood nuffies.ย

The Giants Filth game was a ripper

A win made better by the fact that pies played well but Gws just smashed them.

Pies got lucky in the granny with the advantage call.

At least our flag was a clear win.

Nice to hear Maynard getting some boos the dog.

On two occasions he performed surreptitious eye gouges.

Pies supporters were into Mayโ€™s comments in smoking .. now this disrespectful clown should be canned by all the dees faithfulย

I quite liked Cox when he first started at the Filth ...... but he's developed into a first class [censored] wit.

Something to do with the company you keep I suppose.

Forget about it. A football action !

Nothing to see here. Collingwood will argue that it was unavoidable, incidental and unintended and heโ€™ll be sweet.

And a football action.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
