That was worse than Powell-Pepper’s hit. He should get a minimum of 5 weeks

I thought P-P was stiff. A Port player turned the poor Crow dude directly into P-P's path...P-P never left the ground with the intention to thump....

It’s hard to argue with that. His only intention was the upper body and he jumped off the ground. These things happen quickly but they are an eternity to these guys.

Simpkin was distressed with concussion symptoms immediately from the vision.

What are we doing here? The week after a bloke is medically retired due to hits to the head.

What is the game about?

i don't think it's going to be 10, but it should start at 6

in other concussion news, will pucovski was sconned second ball of his innings down in tasmania

he needs to be brayshaw'd and medically retired from sport where there's a chance of his head being hit

8 weeks for Webster.

FFS. That is everything we can’t have in the game.

Make him miss two months of footy and he, and others, might finally learn.

We would be en-[censored]-raged if that happened to one of our players.

Enlighten me then, o wise and holy one.

Actually was gonna ask you to settle a debate of sorts between me and another DL-er. He thinks you’re referring to a certain incident and I think you’re referring to a different incident.

Incidentally, I’m very often NOT in the dark as you put it. No, I’m very often across things that aren’t public knowledge, just as you seem to be, or at least, you imply you are. Difference is I choose not to hint at things, or let everyone know that I know something they don’t know.

If you can’t explain why Harmes is a bad boy, perhaps @dazzledavey36 can; I see he gave your post a thumbs up.

Please do not drag me into your guys high school gossip [censored].

Prefer to talk footy thanks.

Sort it over a DM you two.

If the AFL want to make a statement on a head high bump then this is the perfect case study right here with this incident.

You'd think 6 weeks at least is a starting point.

We will soon find out.

Pp was dealt with properly although I'm not sure why they deliberated so long for.

I hope this is sorted out pronto.

Keep handing out minimum four week bans and players will soon start to behave.

This warrants more than four for me. ( As was the Maynard hit).

It's almost a replica of the Maynard Assault.

It’s actually a replica of the Cripps hit which concussed his victim and put him out of the finals.

Cripps’ penalty, a Brownlow.

Blood oath it was. Webster can hardly be expected to avoid a collision when he's left the ground. He's like a frisbee with arms and legs. And Simpkin's momentum after kicking carried him in the direction of Webster, so it's all on him, really. I'm sure a few QCs arguing for 5 hours that up is down will sort this out amicably, with Webster being cleared.

Oh.

NOW you're asking for multiple weeks for a head high collision.

Well, I suppose it's never too late. (Unless you're Angus Brayshaw.)

    CONSISTENCY by The Oracle

"I think we have got a team that can win a premiership, and if we get in this year, I don't think there is a team that is going to want to play us. This year is not a write-off, I don't concede that. Not at all." — Collingwood President Jeff Browne. I love this sort of optimism from the Magpie President after his club’s eleven goal defeat at the hands of the fast rising Hawks. It’s consistent with the fighting spirit of the club that won last year’s flag.  I only wish I could say the s

    FEARS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne’s worst fears about the absence of Max Gawn were realised when it received a shellacking from Fremantle’s ruckmen Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson who dominated the hit out tally in their game at Optus Stadium on Sunday by a massive 47 to 19. As a result, the 50-point deficit at the end of the game proved to be a loss that was long foreseen that was two years in the making and demonstrated a complete lack of hindsight and planning from the club. To add insult to injury, Jackson was a D

    RAIN CHECK by Whispering Jack

The Frankston Dolphins broke a run of six straight losses against their neighbours, the Casey Demons and kept their hopes for a long-awaited return to the VFL finals alive with a 27 point victory over at Kinetic Stadium. Casey was welcomed to the Peninsula by grey skies, heavy rain and angry seas with threatening white-capped waves whipped up by gale force winds. After a slow start in the opening term when they failed to take advantage of the breeze, it appeared that the Demons had decided
