They stopped dead in the last and would've spent a ton of emotional energy. We just need to be on level pegging or sightly ahead early and we will run right over them.

If we as supporters want to help our players the plan is pretty simple. If you went to the G on Thursday you must turn up again. Better still buy a ticket for a mate. Doesn’t matter if they don’t barrack for the Dees, so long as they hate Carlton and are very loud.

Will do but if our players don't listen to their forward line coach what makes you think they'll hear me and my random mate?

Need to wait for official confirmation McKay is in concussion protocols. I’m sensing a Port style ‘mistake’ on the cards…

Remind me to ping you early next year when Petty kicks 0.3 (two out on the full) after having the ball kicked on his head 21 times.

Grundie is not and never will be a forward.

He’s a primary ruckman and a good one

Your thoughts on Max Gawn as a forward?

Whatever happens can we just START FAST AND HUNGRY?

Show us 0-3 in the last 3 finals burns.

Like, actually burns. Enough to come out breathing fire from the FIRST SECOND until the LAST SECOND, and bury these cheating [censored].

We can’t go down 0-4 and 2 straight sets against the blues. We just can’t.

Pressure on carlton for 4 quarters will be enough to beat them. They make a lot of silly mistakes.

Definitely need that third tall down back. 100% no brainer

Right, because Collingwood kicked a massive score with us having only two talls down back.

So we go a man down without Gus? Cool idea. Bamboozle them.

I dream of premiership defender Petty making an appearance in our forwardline next week 😭

Sorry Jordon for Gus and Spargo for Laurie. Grundy for Roo

Because Carlton's tall forwards are comparable to Collingwoods?

McKay might still play

Mentally is Grundy still a Demon or has he already checked out of the building?

I suspect he has at least one foot out the door as he is meeting other clubs while we ae still playing finals.

We saw how effective Jackson was after his mind left to go west.

Tomlinson can't compete with any big forward that has a) speed or b) can jump more than 5 cm off the ground so not sure he gets a game unless there is a specific match up that suits - I can't think of one in either Carlton or Sydney (which is the reason Turner played in Sydney)

JVR shouldn't be suspended but we always seem to be on the wrong side of the Tribunal

Laurie isn't ready for the heat of finals - I'd also say Chandler would be very lucky to retain his spot - personally prefer Spargo who while not a big possession getter is one of our best and most creative users inside F50 - something we are poor at atm.

We lost this game because despite having almost double the number of F50 entries we continue to hack the ball in high and slow - unless we wake up and address that we are going to lose most games, particularly finals. Our efficiency inside F50 of 33% last night is really embarrassing and some real soul searching needs to happen very quickly.

Judging by the way he waved to the crowd when the camera panned to him last night I'd say yes he has checked out.

If it frees up May, Lever, Rivers to be more aggressive with their positioning and give us more drive from half-back that's exactly what we need. If it makes us even slower and stodgier moving the ball into our forward line then absolutely not, no thank you.

No McKay not playing no need. Hibberd did a good enough job.

McKay and possibly Martin out would be a big help. Against that, when you look at who we've now got out, we need all the help we can get.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
