Since his contract, has hardly lifted a finger. Might be trade bait

Lol some big calls being made about our leading goal kicker, useless all year, missing in big games, now trade him? Laughable

Petracca’s handballing 😡

Lever has been great.

Another poor disposal from Trac.

Can’t afford both Trac and Clarry to have a stinkers.

Petracca again has just killed a teammate with a dumb handpass

And then kicks a worm burner. 😡

Sparrow is much better with little time/on the run.

Center square work subpar again

And Breust, right on cue. God I hate Hawthorn.

A few first-half judgments:

Kossie: missing in action.

Van Rooyen: ditto.

Petracca: worst game of the year.

Salem: in rapid decline.

Laurie: not AFL standard yet.

Langdon: the pace has gone.

OIiver: struggling to shake his tag.

On this display so far, we don't deserve top four.

aaaarrrfghhhhhhhhh

pi** off Breust

Petracca selling teammates into trouble with every handpass.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
