It's the Suns vs Curnow

I don't mined the decent rule but gee they pick when to pay them. Pay them all or pay none.

They’ve paid 2 for the game - both to Carlton.

Suns gotta be filthy with this. How many goals over the back have Carlton had this game?

Has to be a directive for umps to favour Carlton.

So it's not just Curnow: Carlton players really love a two arms in the air, how good am I celebration.

I have no living memories of Carlton being good, but they've always been arrogant.
We are moving into dark times my friends.

Come on Suns you absolutely useless organisation. Do right by the footy community.

Can’t stand the head on Owies. Apart from it being disproportionately large for his body, it’s just annoying.

Nice angry work from Casboult there

Carlton will win this off the back of marks in the corridor. Since quarter time they just take so many marks smack bang in the middle.

Just now, Chook said:

Carlton very easily could have lost the last two matches.

And can thank the umpires for both.

Carlscum with all the gifts from the umpires, they can hold their man, no HTB, throws galore 😡😡😡😡

Eddie McGuire years ago said beware when Carlton become good & there supporters will be up and about. They will be intolerable

Just now, Gawndy the Great said:

Just watch us cough it up tomorrow.

Just a dumb post.

GC coaches cost themselves that one by not starting their best defender on Curnow

That was Carlton’s banana peel.

They will blow GWS off the park now that they have the confidence and the lock into finals.

Do not count your chickens. We must beat Hawthorn tomorrow.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
