Gerard Healy had to take over at one point when Huddo's headset slipped off.

Anthony Hudson sounds like he's trying to knock one out whilst he's commentating.

Not surprising, don’t think they make headphones the size of Huddo’s bonce

Best you keep thinking that.

I said it last year but Levi Casboult would be perfect for our game style. Competes so well in the air.

He is 33 so too near the end. Can clunk them though.

Nothing like a 10-goal win at the MCG over poor interstate opposition to deceive Carlton into thinking they're any good.

How could we only beat the Suns by a few points if the blues can [censored] them? Jeez the dees are rubbish!

How could only bet the blues by a couple of goals when they could beat the Suns so easily? Jeez the dees are rubbish!

Yes, we beat the Tigers, but they beat the Saints and the Saints are the opposite to demons. Jeez the dees are rubbish!

How could we lose to Freo, coz they got flogged by the Giants and we probably will too. Jeez the dees are rubbish!

Have i got it right? Isn't that how it works?

He's dreadful on the deck, so he wouldn't be getting many games. Just like TMac and BB.

Woeful crowd 29K at MCG. Bluebaggers really jumped off the wagon this week but they'll all pile on again now they've won a game.

i went with my fcfc supporting uncle and cousin, and we were all a bit surprised that it was nearly 30k

Oskar Baker lol

Liam Jones has gone past him in the game ratings and he is sitting on the bench waiting to be subbed on.

He marks the ball, and is a genuine threat in the air - especially in a contested situation. Neither Brown or TMac have been able do that in the last 18 months.

I’m not advocating we get him now, I just wish we grabbed him for free 18 months ago. 35 goals last year.

Bulldogs ... you know you're in trouble if Greenwood kicks 2 goals in a quarter against you.

I have a soft spot for Hugh. He lost his mum to breast cancer six years ago, he was only 25. He took it really hard and to this day still points to the sky after kicking a goal. 😔

Interestingly, his grandfather played for Melbourne and played in the 1955 - 1957 grand finals.

Have you ever met Huddo?

Seriously his head just doesn't fit. Reminds me of a younger Bert Newton.

Sorry to hear that. He may well be a ripper bloke, but he's cooked as a footballer (IMHO).

FWIW he looks very much like Matthew Newton.

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the team’s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourne’s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season. There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight. Since that game, the Demons’ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where they’ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?

  • POSTGAME: Geelong

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.
