Parker upheld for a lesser tackle. Cerra is no chance of getting off..

You don’t understand how the tribunal works if you think their rulings are based on consistency 🙄😂

The AFL will look to apply ad-hoc equalisation methods beginning tonight by clearing Cerra for his dump tackle.

I’m probs going straight to hell for saying this but since Cerra playing or not playing this week won’t affect whether we win or lose, a part of me hopes he gets off purely to see the mega melts on here.

I mean, a Tribunal Tuesday meltdown is very on brand for Demonland this season

GTFO?
I cannot believe this. What a complete farce. Gleeson has to be removed.

The tribunal's reasoning:

"We're terribly sorry. The MRO clearly thought Mr Cerra still played for Fremantle. If he'd realised he played for Carlton, he never would have been charged.

We're just glad this terrible wrong has been righted."

Wasn’t Sparrows tackle identical? I mean no arms pinned as well? This a utter BS but we all knew it would happen.

Right hand vs Left hand, hair doesn’t doesn’t touch the ground etc.

It the AFL doesn’t appeal, they are complicit.

Absolute farce. It won't happen but I dearly hope we tear Carlton a new one on Friday night.

Insane that Cerra got off and the 17 others didn’t. Some with less dangerous tackles too.

This season in general has been ****house. Not only has the tribunal and umpiring been poor, but the quality of football and general excitement from watching games has been rock bottom. Can’t remember a less interesting season. Great job AFL.

I can see it now.

Tribunal sums up after allowing the appeal, that no reasonable person or footballer, could have foreseen, that a smaller player, dragging a bigger player to the ground, would cause the bigger player to hit his head on the ground twice and that after all, he really didn't mean to do it and he is sorry.

Told you.

I couldn’t care less about our game this week. Friday night against Carlton should be exciting, but this is the least excited I’ve felt for an upcoming match since 2019  when we were bottom four.

Well probably win against an injured depleted Carlton, but who cares. If we win, big whoop. If we lose, we’re rubbish.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
