If he could kick straight he'd be B+ to A grade.  Such a commanding presence and a beautiful mark

Wouldn't mind him in our team right now but that's the stuff of dreams.  Bridges might have been burnt.  But the boy can play!

Mind you, the game was tough of my aging eyes ... bright orange & yellow everywhere.  Had to turn the brightness down on the telly

The scary thing about St Kilda is that they’re not even close to full strength.

They epitomise what work rate and effort can do. Talent doesnt make as much difference as it used to. If they keep winning and get back their stars they’ll go deep. 
 

We forget that they used to be a reasonable team before they fell off the face of the earth with no apparent reason.

no way the Saints will be able to keep this up over the season. it’s all pressure and manic play  

Ross is doing the right thing focusing on defence. but Saints don’t have the depth or talent to make the 8 this year. they’ll drop off like last year

After our debacle yesterday watching saints and filth play actually gives me hope. What an appalling game. At least the saints have some injuries as an excuse.

They said that about us in 2021. They are fit and they are hungry. Structurally they are excellent.

They'll make the eight easily.

do they have a Trac, Clarry, Gawn, May, etc? i reckon they are getting through on energy and pressure. us in 2021 were pokes apart imo

they were 8-3 last year and missed finals

Yes he effectively killed the clock with that last pack mark at high half-forward (Hawks side of the ground)

I got the distinct impression that he didn't want the finger pointed at himself for missing those 2 easy shots

Willed himself at the contest and iced the game.  It certainly was well done

    It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio.
