As per Kiss of Death's comment, M54 and M4 are now fully on sale to Melbourne members.

I'm happy I paid attention and kept logging in - only two other seats had been taken in M4 at the time I purchased 🥰

So glad I have my reserved seat. For 20 years I paid for these seats, and it's never been needed... finally, the long wait has paid off 🤑

Has it ever Jaded! Feel so VIP right now!

I'm guessing if it's sold out that means the guest pass area for the Trident section is too, not that I need it.

Does anyone know when Redleg guest passes will be available?

I'm currently on hold waiting, know option yet online, which is ridiculous to be honest.

Also how do you get a ticket to the Uluru game anyone had experience in that area before?

Go onto the club site and look for an entertainment package... around $200 IIRC

Also if you are a Red Leg member and want to get guest passes to level 2.

GA has been exhausted, but the club is working out a way for members to be able to purchase guest passes without buying a reserve seat and will announce it next week.

You can however put a hold on guest passes if you want to get some.

Would have thought the easiest way to do it is to put P1-P4 on sale through Ticketek at $30 a ticket and only available if you put your redlegs/tridents barcodes in?

Problem is the guest pass is only to get into the members area and normally you also need a GA to get in.

So I think they’ll combine the 2 and make it $55 to come into the members area?

I purchased a 3 game membership for our daughter at the start of the month as part of the Kozzie promo. While I was at it I booked and payed for a KB Redleg guest pass ($30). I rang the Membership team this morning as the Membership card has not arrived yet. They still don't have any advice regarding entry to the ground for this situation. They have been on the back foot as the MCG has sprung this on the Club and it caught everyone by surprise. If I have to pay extra for a "Reserve Seat" ticket I'll be annoyed but as long as I can get the daughter on level 2, I will do whatever I need to do.

My friends got a general admission ticket and unsure what happens now? Can they still get in with it? It’s so confusing what to do

Short answer "no". Long answer; depends, is it a "ticket" purchased some time ago through Ticketmaster? Or a GA Membership?

Personally, I think it's wrong charging members for an upgrade regardless the level of membership.

They got the tickets about 2 weeks ago off ticketek, it’s not a membership

Problem is with how many Woods unwashed want to go to the game but I agree. For many years I went GA because I would always stand (due to back injury). I never needed a "reserved seat".

On those tickets does it specify a Level, Bay, Row and Seat?

I am assuming they are not MFC or CFC members.

That  ticket/s will gain entry into the ground at the appropriate gate and they can go to their seat/s directly.
The confusion is because all GA members ticket holders who are MFC or CFC members have had to upgrade to a reserved seat to secure admission to the ground rather than gain entry by their card.
If they want to they can ring MFC  Membership Dept on 03 9652 1155 to double check this information.

Cheers and enjoy the game

It's also to stop walk ups on the day. Hopefully a lot of Woods supporters (not very smart obviously) who turn up and expect to purchase a ticket at the gate will be very unhappy. As the tickets are from Ticketek the MFC Membership Team wont be able to help.

Nope everything’s GA as at the time general admission tickets were selling!
They’re Collingwood anyway so they can stay home! Haha

what about ga members who are ok or even prefer to stand?

Need an allocated seat to get in. This is the problem I have at the moment as Guest Passes apply to a seating "area" not individual seats.

I hope you weren't going to sit with them anyway!

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
