I’ll preface this by saying that Essendon may well end up winning this match but can we (the wider AFL community) not laud the efforts of teams in Round 1 particularly teams that play Hawthorn or that years equivalent. 

Suns kicking themselves out of this game. They've missed about 4 relatively simple shots on goal so far

The whole footy department would have surely made the choice to cull the list right back, perhaps with the backing of the board, so they have to back him for a few season’s at least.  Gonna test their resolve at times though.
