6. Petracca (I felt he turned the game in the 2nd quarter, which was why I had him ahead of Gawn)

5. Gawn

4. Pickett

It was a toss-up between Tomlinson and Neal-Bullen for the last vote. I decided on Tomlinson, not just because the Bulldogs tall forwards were neutralised, but because his work allowed Lever to do what he does best by zoning off.

6 - Mr Petracca (not so much real-time, at the game: swayed by his highlights package this morning)

5 - Mr Gawn (downgrade victim of the above)

4 - Mr Lever

3 - Mr Oliver

2 and 1 - Mr Tomlinson and 'My Boy' respectively (pushing out our two quadruplians cos I wanted to show them both some deserved love, and the latter gets a debut loading)

6 - Lever

5 - Gawn

4 - Pickett

3 - Tomilson

2 - Petracca

1 - Bowey

6 Kozzie

5 Gawn

4 Lever

3 Petracca

2 Oliver

1 McVee ( or at least 10 others)

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
