Is it in the MCC museum or the Australian Sport Museum. The link suggested MCC, but the title of this thread suggests otherwise. They are two different museums at the G.

The original post was a tweet from the MCC and the tweet said Australian Sports Museum. The tweet has now been deleted and was not replaced. I have now put the Dees tweet about it from today in the original post.

AUSTRALIAN SPORTS MUSEUM AND THE MCC MUSEUM

The MCC Museum forms an integral part of the Australian Sports Museum experience on non-MCG event days, where ticket purchasers will be able to access the MCC Museum from within the Australian Sports Museum.

Follow the signage when browsing the Cricket Gallery inside the Australian Sports Museum to discover the MCC Museum.

I am going to assume it's the MCC one down near the Bullring

Great to see the Stynes family donating his Brownlow to the museum. However even more surprising was Trac donating his Norm Smith medal so soon after winning it! Said that it means more to him having the fans come and see it. What a guy!

I also note he didn’t hand over his premiership medallion - shows which of the two medals is most important to him.

I could donate a piece of cyclone fence with a picture of the ground at Casey Fields adorned with a rubber snake and mini Dalek!😇

Please don't donate your empty booze bottles picket - you'd fill the place up.

I was fortunate enough years ago to work on an MFC project cataloguing a lot of their vast trove of memorabilia. This was while it was in temporary storage of the sports museum in the depths of the MCG. Many athletes put on loan or bequeath their medals, uniforms or other gear for safe keeping. Pluggers Locket's Brownlow and Coleman medals were in storage , Betty Cuthbert's track suit and even a funny old bike that was ridden to glory for an olympic gold medal reside down there. Many of the old cricket bats are kept in the MCC museum on loan. The owners say they are properly stored and are kept in a safe secure environment.

There is o much in storage that isn't on display.
