Who’s the fella at Trac’s feet? Stick him on the opposite wing to Langers………………he looks like he’d love chasing the ball

Anyone have the official return to training date?

My guess is for Wednesday, I'll drop by, and hope a morning run is on at Gosch's.

Nothing on the training page from the MFC site.

Are you sure it's him?

He was kicking towards the left wing apparently so we can be pretty sure

Any further updates? I’m thinking of going and want to take the kids. Don’t think I can handle turning up to an empty Gosch’s paddock and then having to deal with 3 kids under 8

Bit of a gamble, with having to disappoint the kids.

I will post tomorrow morning just before 9.30am if they are out on Gosch's.

They could be at Casey or may delay their start of the 2023 campaign till Friday or next week.

The channel 7 report stated they'll return to training next week

Most likely will start next week.

No team training!

One demon out on Gosch's at the moment.

Mr.May, doing sprints with intervals.

Melbourne Storm are in full force, on the oval next to AAMI.

Brayshaw has just arrived.

Do you live at Gosch’s paddock?

Under a tree by any chance?

Or just within binocular distance?

You are a star on your training reports, greatly appreciated.

Thanks again Kev. Only Bayley and Christian were training. They were fantastic with my boys having a kick to kick with them. Had a nice chat about the round ball game with Christian who is a mad Arsenal fan.

I reckon it was Salem, because today's Petracca's birthday and I'd reckon he's out celebrating.

Perhaps they are out at Casey, or the volunteer was wrong.

I'll have a wonder down to Gosch's, Monday.

Obviously they train over the summer break, each player has an extensive list of training targets they must complete

Gee , they get alot of free time for professionals. 2 months post MFC season and 3 weeks for christmas.

Nice.

Reckon it’s a good thing that they have plenty of time off between seasons. Reckon a lot of the guys spent most of last off-season fully focussed on the responsibility and burden of being reigning premiers.

Come back fresh physically, but mentally too. Our intensity in 2022 was nowhere near the sustained levels that it was in 2021.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
