Swans needs goal right now

They had so many opportunities to put the nail on the coffin and blew them all. Even Heeney at 3QT would've stopped the Pies momentum.

Looking like a carbon copy of us versus Brisbane last week.

That should do it

Commentators advocating for hands in the back 🤮🤮

Blatant push in the Back

Wow

Did it twice for good measure.

Watching the games this weekend has been awfully frustrating.

We would have given Geelong a far better contest than Brisbane last night, not provided a training run.

We were far more competitive against Sydney than Collingwood. Collingwood are only still in this game because of their unbelievable accuracy (bit like when they played us). Wish I wasn’t having visions of Melksham right now.

But we weren’t good enough, were we

The idea of Sydney winning the flag sickens me.

Just can't have Collingwood anywhere near the flag this year. I'd be so insulted if they won it the year after us

And that’s how you ruin a final. Well done umps.

Well it does make up for quite a few non decisions favoring Pies earlier in the quarter.

If they don’t pay the big shoves Hawkins does, theres no way they’re going to pay that as in the back against Papely. Thankfully they didn’t.

Haha , push in the back, touched and ball hit the deck. Collingwood fans would be filthy

Yep and they will whine about that but forget the fact they gave up the first 4 goals

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
