If some people on here think that we are not being penalised pretty well every game they have severe visual incapacity..

speaking of which, how come the mro haven't sanctioned buddy for staging. how come so little discussion on this bad decision (and kozzies) post game in the media

if it was the filth or the tigers they would have kicked up loudly

Exactly.

Big club Coaches would be bleating about the decisions.

There is a clear agenda IMO in the media to highlight certain things and overlook others.

Only one thing left to do....wintheflagandgrabthepointyendandstickitwhereitbelongs.

What about the excuse for Ginnivan's chicken wing not being cited. Oh they missed it. Still 6 days before his next game plenty of time to lay a charge.

The rule is interpreted stupidly as well.  If someone is zooming through the protected area and there is no way (short of tearing all his ligaments) to actually turn and affect the player with the ball, then ignore it.   So rather than players and umpires guessing where 15m is, let them guess 'could the player actually affect they player with the ball'.   If a player zooms past but is so close the umpire thinks he could have affected things, ping him.  If not, don''t.

It's a 10 metre protected area and Kozzie was double that away from Reid at all times. Disgraceful decision.

That non citing is worth more than all the frees he has missed, as he would have got 2 weeks.

Oh that's right the MRO is Michael Christian and he played for ...........

Wouldn't be surprised if the AFL told him to ignore it, as it would create more controversy.

Disgraceful act, as even Dermie said, it was done to really hurt Dangerfield.

The reason why Danger couldnt remonstrate was because he was already on the ground, wonder if Blondie would’ve done anything if Paddy was upright? Seriously, Ginivan has something coming for him surely. A pity Adams (a tough but fair player) did his groin and not that little worm.

Sam Switkowski got 2 weeks for his chicken wing on Ginnivan earlier this season. On seeing this latest decision, Sam might think he’ll be getting an apology from the MRO.

Well ... if you can believe Goody on 360 just now .... Trac is no worries!

BTW ... This is my first post since the Swans debacle - that's how [censored] off iv'e been.

Hope you've recovered Uncle.  I won't ask how the maid is fairing.

Sorry, but I come from the Allen Jakovich generation.

Gee, the similarities up forward from Trac and Jako are evident.

Maybe, this is the right time, especially with our problems with tall forwards, to push Ben Brown up the ground (CHF), and place Trac and Fritsch in the Goal square, with Kozzie/Spargs crumbing.

Or, open up the forward line completely, and let Trac go one on one, aka Jako.

We have not tried it yet.

Not a bad idea FAR but then we have the problem of being a rotation down through the middle.

Is there some online vision of this other than trolling through the replay Red?

Uncle B will duck down into the cellar and choose a dusty bottle (circa 1960 but the label is deteriorated)

And we know he'll settle down,... and invite the maid (Meredith is the Tuesday girl) to provide some comfort.

Haha you seem to know an awful lot about BBO’s habits Handley. Is there something you want to tell us?

The maggots knew what they were doing and carefully compounded and concocted three or four together  killer decisions to covertly bring our opposition back into the game. After the first one the smiles started coming back.and they pressed harder knowing that those maggots were about to let things roll.

The mark whistle started as well. In other words all they had to do Reid in particular was put the ball in both hands and the maggot had his whistle in his mouth that quick that he nearly swallowed it.

It was absolutely incorrect.

It was incorrect. Kozzie was miles away, eyes fixed elsewhere, accelerating forward.

If Petracca moving about freely is an issue we could just play him out of the goal square

Brisbane don't flood back like a lot of other teams (unless they change their tactics against us this time around)

In our 2 previous encounters against them this season our forward line has not been crowded and as a result, our forward line has functioned very well both times

So Petracca playing deep forward (up to a flank) would be a dangerous proposition for them.  And a potential match-winner for us

We've got enough quality in the midfield to cover for Christian (that might be a different story if we advance to an encounter against the Cats)

I have it but it won’t load on DL.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
