Moron Pies fans think every tackle should be a free. So do their players.

Bad kicking bad footy Collingwood

They can't even pay for a good slo-mo or 360 system, appaling!

Just checked on Google. 300,000 dollars for both the spider camera and a 360 deg camera system. Surely the AFL can spare that money? Oh wait Gil MacLachlan needs his exit bonus I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

Though Cats May have spent their tickets in Q2

Geelong getting the run of the umpires this quarter.  Some horrible non calls.

Geelong have tightened up on the pies. They can't get free

And they get all the help from the umpires

This so interesting to watch. Ed was right. Collingwood’s game style is all duck and no dinner. They’ll take it on, but you get such good looks if they turn it over. I have serious doubts about its ability to be consistently competitive over seasons. They’ve been great this year and ridden the wave, but teams will get better at figuring it out.

Its actually a massive credit to them that they’ve sustained it. It looks exhausting.

Geelong doing a Melbourne & giving up a goal on the siren

Nah, only we do that. Posters on here said so.

Not just the ones paid. Pies getting crucified on frees not paid as well.

Why can't the Dees become the darlings of the AFL and the umpires? We always seem to have to win it against opposition and the guys in green/yellow.

Yup. Way too much structure. I mean FFS unleash Clarrie and Trac, Langers less effective cos we now go slow. All that makes our forwards ineffective. Look at the way the filth and swans smashed the ball forward from stoppage. Geelong did it with the mark to Rohan too.

It’s defending with ball in hand. Boring boring boring. Traditionally it was the game style of finals… I think we are seeing a new tradition being forged.

We had a reasonable run last night and won a premiership last year.

Umpiring can ruin the flow of a game but not results.

I hope so, it’s much better to watch.

The Pies look spent imo. Not sure they can hang on, but I hope they do. Hatred of Geelong trumps all.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.
